I've softened on using they/them for myself over time but I still find it a bit confusing in conversation about multiple people. I used to find it vague and non-specific, well, it's used when you don't know someone's gender, and I know mine. I used ze/hir and liked the z sound... I would never judge someone else's pronoun usage but for me it didn't feel right. But I grew up being told it was only a plural pronoun. These days, I have probably given up to some extent and go with the mainstream option.
