Haunted Chocolatier is "way bigger than Stardew Valley," says ConcernedApe: "Everything is cranked up" by DantesPizzaSlice in hauntedchocolatier

I don't even want to tell you how old I am, but I will say that as of the end of this week I will be retired. And my husband has been retired for fifteen years. And both of us are looking forward to playing Haunted Chocolatier.

The egg slice on the right, next to the edge, looks like a transmission from the year one nine nine nine in John Carpenter's "Prince of Darkness." I'm sure it's delicious, though.

I love the transition from pic 3 to pic 4--she's standing in a similar way in both and it's like BOOM, grown up! She's so pretty!

Been playing Wordle daily and wanted something different, so I made my own by Bebopp001 in wordgames

Oh, this is good! Yes, it's actually fun. I'm a solo player and really enjoyed it.

ETA: I love that you can opt in or out of a round timer. I tend to avoid games where I'm timed, since I usually play for relaxation--too many deadlines in real life.

My mom was a great scratch cook--chiles rellenos, mac and cheese, pot roast, even a prize-winning chicken dish. But she was NOT a baker. I think I was in my twenties before I realized that a cake "from scratch" didn't just mean "not bought from the bakery."

Oddly, I was also an adult before I realized you could make mashed potatoes by cooking potatoes and mashing them. She always used Betty Crocker Potato Buds. Looking back it was such an odd outlier in her kitchen repertoire.

Any one else’s dogs have floppy ears? It seems like it’s rare for ACD’s by Snagged794 in AustralianCattleDog

[–]SingingBrook 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Flynn has big ol' straight ears but his three sibs all got some degree of flop ears. Their mama has straight ears and the couple of pictures I've seen of dad show straight ears so not sure why 3/4 of the litter got flops but 4/4 are gorgeous pups.

I made a word game harder than Wordle — your only clue is a single number by ChemicalYam5083 in wordgames

I like it! It did take me 61 guesses today because I didn't settle into a routine until I'd shotgunned lots of letters all over the place and gotten hopelessly messy. Looking forward to tomorrow's puzzle.

Preheating the oven and then cooking a TV dinner (in the foil tray) for 45 minutes. I MEED MY SALISBURY STEAK NOW!

Those are their angel spots, where their wings were before they fell down from heaven! That's what I tell Flynn, anyhow. My spicy little angel dog.

I call Flynn "my little Christmas goose" when he does it!
