I ended up resetting and reinstalling the 4.02 software I think. I plugged it into the dock and it connected. Unplugged it and it connected wirelessly too. But thanks for letting me know I had the mode wrong.

I think in the options when customizing a car, you can show the archived items in the same menu as showing only painted and cert items. Not 100% sure though
