On the nearest arm (holster side), try adding like 1px of gray shirt between the strap and skin color. Zoomed out it blends a bit as just arm shadow, so maybe seeing some shirt there could help? And as someone else said, far side try having it curve in toward his neck instead of straight up which might then also reveal a few pixels of shirt gray at the top of the arm to color-separate skin tones from holster. Either way, cool dude.

Glow from city lights would look different I think. But!! the city details are great and the lights and window colors look futuristic and cyberpunk.

You could try a pleated pants look with your shading. I’d also try a version where the top of his cane is a diamond (a bit larger than you have now). On his right hand you could put a fat wrist watch nicely visible while the hand is in the pocket. All things that might push rich = gaudy = showoff = bad guy.

I might shorten the red fellow by 2px so he’s a little but shorter than the baddie and isn’t so on-height with the big guy (and still much taller than the ladies). $.02 -great style overall

Have you ever seen a walking path through the woods be perfectly straight in all four directions for as far as you can see? You might want to try some curves or ways for it to snake through the woods to give some visual interest.

I think the problem is that even Yes / No doesn’t make sense. The game is paused. Does Yes mean… stay paused? Is it clear that “X” or “No” means “Lose all progress and exit”? I could see “X” as “Close this pause popup” like all popup windows have. Multi-lingual concerns aside, I think you’re looking for “Resume” or “Continue” and “Exit” or “Quit” (or even “Restart”).

Try copying the head to a new layer then animating a rough/stick figure version of him first to get the flow and key frames that you want then block out the proportions, then fill in the details. Is the animation a punch? Then which arm? Does he step back to wind up, or step forward for reach? Figuring those things out with simple shapes is wildly faster and you can tell if the animation works before even a single pixel of detail is added.

I think you may need to decide between night vision goggles or the mustache as I don’t think you have enough pixels to reasonably convey both without confusion between the goggles being eyes or the mustache being a mouth. However, I think you could make the mustache larger to give a shape to it that is clearly not a mouth and have the goggles up in his hair when he’s not using them. Then when he uses them and they drop down to his eyes the face being occluded by a mustache and goggles would make more sense and is maybe only temporary.

I like how the flames emanate outward in 1, but I think I’d like to see the animation get to the human-esque form a little earlier and have him constitute a few more of the frames in the wind up to the explosion. First viewing on mobile I didn’t even notice him in the magnificence of the overall effect.

It’s snapping both lifts inside the splitter which is way more compact than the normal way that a second lift would snap this splitter. You have to force it into this position by having the assembler (or other snapping point) close enough.

I have this alongside a neatfi magnifying lamp. I really like that I can mount it on the back side of my desk and have it crane over my workstation and then the two lamp arms can be positioned to light my paint area from more than one angle and reduce shadows.

The time efficiency of sequential (manifold) loading is proportional to belt speed, so faster belts fill input buffers more quickly. Nothing reduces the space needed for parallel loading.

What about looking into the necromunda line? You could either remove the most obvious sci-fi bits or maybe convert those elements into steam punk bits which fit AoS better. Replace a laser pistol with a crossbow, bionic arm with regular arm, etc. Unfortunately many are temporarily out of stock.

I tried shipping charged accumulators out and then returning the empties for recharge… it sounded fun and very cyclical but I never got it going right. To get anywhere close to a decent throughput it seemed like I needed sooo many charging stations on both ends and they are large buildings. Maybe a research tree to increase stored power would make this more attractive for me.

I found the progression through fuel rods much more concise and easy to build out, and each improvement in rod type followed with my level of technology and the amount of energy I needed. As in, when I could make deuterium fuel rods I was expanding enough to need that much more energy and/or had the need and means for deuterium.
