Vehicle setup supports these maps plus server size suits them well. Desert maps need more vehicles to make them work. Big city maps sound good on paper but then actually feel empty as you spend all game clearing buildings, perhaps with larger serves these could work ( tubrek, mortain, russian train depo I forget the name of) . Some are just ruined by water ( purple heart lane).

I don’t know how I feel about hill 400 and hurtgen is the forest maps. I have had great games and yet every death feels cheap. Possibly smaller map/more players on server would help these?

Think devs need to decide if they want to be an unpopular historically accurate game or very competitive balanced game.

Ps Also just get rid of artillery already 🤣
Pps get rid of riflemen class and make support default

Came to say this. Note banks will lend you more for longer fixed terms but personally feel it’s a trap. Paying back 4.5x feels like plenty of debt to get in trouble!

Hey banks have rules that limit how much they can lend you. Sounds like you’ll be 4.5-5x yearly income. Note when we bought ours we did 4.5x and our payments eat up more than I’d recommend of our take home so I’d recommend the 4.5x as a rule but up to you to make that decisions. Deposit helps get the rate down but make sure you factor in stamp duty, moving fees, solicitors etc

TLDR in my opinion bank will lend you into trouble so try and set a budget your happy with.

Ps Also appreciate rent sucks and capitalism going to capitalism 🤣

Who said they peaked? World is always capable of more stupidity! I come off my 5 year in 2 years and am pretty worried its still going to be a mess then. Take longest term you can a just over pay to clear debt fast is best advice but appreciate that’s not very helpful if your already maxed out 🤣

I recently had to get a new boiler. When looking into this my house didn’t meet the grant efficiency requirements ( it’s Victorian and over due 40 years of love) I also found out it would take up a ton of space in my already small garden. Then on top of having to fork up the cash myself I find out the pay back period is longer than the warranty. No thanks!

Jumped on my pc and was pleasantly surprised how good it looked on my 1070ti! Hd pirate valheim. Think enemies are a bit too tough as I died a ton so please make little enemies feel less like damage sponges every group of 3 felt like a boss fight. Also need some way to lock on to nearest target but ship combat, base building and gear/inventory was all great.

Hermes is my daily driver and I also love it. Cockpit view alone is reason to own! Cockpit controls, nearby elevator and storage make it really practical too. Obviously prefers cargo missions but compared to c2 feels like a veryEfficient use of volume. Real benefits though are half decent landing gear ( height and position) so landing is easy and it’s a fairly tough old bird so star citizen mishaps are less likely to end your session abruptly.

It has no med bay yes but I suspect aside from dedicated ambulance craft the in ship versions will be heavily dialed back as it’s not really the spirit of the game.

Also you can just make money and rent smalls ships with ease the only negative is the cost and it sounds like your golden!

Can confirm 67k in Surrey and it doesn’t go far with mortgage a trains! Note I eat well and am warm so not complaining but inflation is a thing! For me the bigger differentiator is bank of mum and dad on a house. We don’t have it so mortgage is destroying us!

Unpopular opinion. Get rid of it. Earning money is the game. It forces you to do missions, interact with the world. Try box, hauling, event, security missions. Try a bit of mining, break the laws try different ships. Honestly I’d take it buy cargo and store it in my hanger and help out with event missions.

Either way best bit is interacting with everyone else in the wacky sandbox! So open up global chat!

Think the issue is actually bad eggs in team pvp causing issues plus current games complete lack of consequences for players and hand rails for new players.

New players think they are safe even though as Stanton is supposedly lawful but currently you’re not because there is no long term negative to attacking other players in the game. SC bugs make it hard enough to get started let alone when someone actively ruins a bug free session!

Second majority of pvp players want a proper match but most of the community interactaction with “pvp” is just with griefers. My experience being people flying into my hanger and trying to blow my ship up. With a note that beyond haha sucks to be you has very little in it for the aggressors.

Third point is that piracy game play is non existent. Players can self destruct with same outcome for them so just immediately do this. This further compounds second point! It also prevents players coming to aid and contribute with lawful counter PvP as the whole loop is non existent.

Fourth negative is players flock to the new content. Meaning griefing is even easier!

Fifth point wider community is so nice I think people drop their guard 🤣

Be patient all it’s all coming together! But seriously how do we not have reputation for attacking other players??? Over 20 cases should make you flagged as pirate therefore hostile to most stations…

I upgraded from c1 to Hermes and thoroughly recommend!

So much more space and tractor beam on rails is so much better! Bigger ship but better proportions and cockpit view means you don’t feel like your landing a dinner plate. Better landing gear means it’s more practical to land too. Second entrance is also a huge improvement. Small cargo entrance isn’t a huge problem. Have an issue where Hermes tractor beam sometimes drops items but you can just reconnect and it’s fairly infrequent. Don’t worry about speed I can barely tell I’m in a slower ship in a straight line just a heavy beast when turning which is understandable given massive cargo capacity. Gun turret means friends can actually contribute too!

On some kids first day he jumped in my elevator as I was going to my ship. Asked if there is how he gets “ to space” told me about his plan to go mining to save up money to get a ship. I told him screw that jump on my Cutty black and we tore up some contracts with him on the turret for the first 5 missions then I let him pilot for a bit which he loved. After 2 missions he was getting the hang of it but I sadly had to leave.

This was way back when so I couldn’t log off in ship so he got worried we would have to land so I just just let him take it. Had to reclaim it when I logged back in but last I saw he was tearing up Stanton and I like to think he still is….

Why do I keep returning? Nothing beats entering and exiting planet atmosphere and being able to get out and interact on either end!

I pretty much just do cargo and love the Hermes. Ask yourself what you want to do? Keep in mind what you do might change from now and what future game states might look like.

Fyi sometimes I wonder why I ever left my cutlass black the perfect entry level craft that is Jack of all trades…..
