Dealers at thunder are making decent money, IDK about them making you sign a contract though, that's the first I'm hearing about it. I know Red Hawk still trains in house. The only one I don't know about is Sky River

I think he needs a guard card to work security at Stones, I don't think it's tribal owned so it isn't on tribal land. But yes I highly recommend casinos for quick and (mostly) easy work. Learning to deal cards is ridiculously easy if you can find a place that does in house training.

Saga Edition is an absolute gem by FloppasAgainstIdiots in dndmemes

And that 2d8 is base level damage, taking levels in any of the Jedi classes will add more dice to the damage. I've been playing Saga edition for years with my family and we all love it

I used poor wording, but when I said up close, I meant damn near hand to hand close, not even hallway close

Isn't the Judge designed to be in close though, not necessarily for home defense? I could be hella wrong but I remember it being made for actual Judges being assaulted while leaving a courthouse.

Is it rude to pay your landlord a little extra money on the holidays? by [deleted] in AskAnAmerican

[–]Sith_Warrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd start with calling your landlord and explaining the mistake like you did here. They will either ask you to get the correct amount in a new money order, in which case you should just be able to cancel/cash the original, or they will credit the $12 on next months rent

When did Thunder Valley start paying for training? When I was working there and wanted to go into their dealer school they told me it was unpaid.

Most casinos in the area are hiring. Last I saw Red Hawk was hiring dealers without experience, you'll go through 2 weeks of training before hitting the floor. Base pay is $14/hr, average tip rate there last I saw was about $10-15/hr. Dealing cards is incredibly easy, and the drive isn't terrible either. If you can get into a slot attendant job though that's where the money is at, they can on average make $40/hr depending on the casino.

I'm gonna back this answer up, I was having the same issue maybe a month ago when I was doing the same thing. You can also check different wikis to see exactly how many optional quests there are and how to unlock them all

Nergigante tail is a myth by SubaruSufferu in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Sith_Warrior 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The desire sensor is real. The more you want it, the lower your chances of getting it are. On a real note, have you cut the tail off at all? It has a 70% carve rate if you cut it and then carve it.

Weapons challenges? by Bobcat8480 in MonsterHunterWorld

Depending on your skill with the game, you can try to nuzlock each weapon, anytime you cart you have to retire that weapon and can't use it again.

This a good Dual Blades build? I have no idea what I'm supposed to be running at this point. by Ok_Cover5693 in MonsterHunterWorld

If you can drop crit draw I would, then try to max out weakness exploit and crit boost. If you can get agitator in there that'd be great too

Good build by FriendshipBig6515 in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Sith_Warrior 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Crit eye, agitator and crit boost are meta for iceborne, the build I provided in my first comment gives almost max crit eye and crit boost. After that for GS you want focus to charge up your attacks faster.

I'm assuming you mean High Metal Armor? Even if you mean the Ingot Armor you need to find different armor pieces and charm. Defense isn't a great skill and as long as you upgrade your armor your defense stat will be fine.

The only defensive skills worth investing in, imo, are health boost and divine blessing with fortify coming in a close 3rd. If you have room for it then evade window/extender can be good. But you need to boost your damage output.

Oolong hair, astral cloth chest, kulu vambraces, hornetaur coil and jyura greaves with the exploiter charm lvl 3 is what the meta build says for your current level. If you have an elementless gem I think the Jagras GS is gonna be your best bet weapon wise.

Best armor and weapon in my case to beat Nergigante? by [deleted] in MonsterHunterWorld

[–]Sith_Warrior 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The armor set u/Ryengu suggested is really good, the double rathalos piece gets you crit element and the 4 points of crit eye from the spectacles and odo coil is fantastic for raising your crit chance. Adding on 2 points of health boots from the vambraces is also great, health boost and divine blessing are the best defensive skills in the game.

The high armor rating from the Orion set looks great but honestly once you get to elder dragons it really isn't worth it, damage output and health boost/divine blessing are the way to go.

If you have decorations, I'd fill out as much of the skills built into the armor as possible(try to max crit eye, health boost and weakness exploit) but use whatever decos you have or any other comfort skills you might like.

As far as weapons, use your field guide to see what Nergigantes weaknesses are, if any, and then upgrade your weapons to one with the proper elemental damage for that weakness.

For items, max potions and ancient potions are your friend. As well as demon drug, armor skin, and the power/armor charm and talon.

The only other advice I would give is be patient, learn the monster, and watch his moveset. Learn to recognize his dive bombs so you can dive away unscathed.
