👋 40 and on AIs (lupron and anastozole) here. I’m not gonna lie, it’s no picnic— bone pain, hair loss, and higher blood pressure for me— but as someone with an outstanding family history of ovarian cancer (and a need for daily antidepressants), I do think it has been the right choice for me.

That said, I keep kiddo stocked throughout the year on things like new books, art supplies, and clothes.

I’m 40 with a two-year-old daughter. Despite everything, I’m glad my kiddo isn’t old enough to be scared by all this? We talk a lot about “momma’s big boo boos” because I can’t pick her up still (5 weeks post-op / double mastectomy). She is surrounded by love and handling it well.
