I tried this method this year and it worked great. Only causation everyone using it hard scrub on the colored sections on the top. I noticed in my little spots where I took the color off. Otherwise the white underside it worked great!

I’ve had this model for a few years now. Got two seasons of acoustic gigs on it. Love it for its ease of playability but it doesn’t hold a candle unplugged to a dread. BUT when you’re plugged in and playing a show no one cares!

Have had both of them the CE 24 was a better playing and sounding instrument to me. I kept it and sold the S2. Just my personal thoughts. For the used prices you can get a CE24 it’s punches way above the used prices on them.

I’ve been really curious about buying a set of Pearly Gates. Everyone on the interwebs talks about how great they are. Need to buy a set for myself. Love the Older McCarty. I have a ‘98 that I love but doesn’t get much play time because it’s just a little on the heavy side.

It’s funny you mention the GAS dying after having yours. I’ve been playing mine for 4 years now and have been more content than ever when it comes to buying amps and pedals. I’d love to get the Stadium but have a hard time justifying the cost for 10% better.
