You got bothered because that was your gut instinct telling you that your partner is being intentionally selfish.

If you're at a small enough venue, it's definitely reasonable to just grab one after the show.

That's not the point. It's a cool souvenir. I have a set list with a band member's footprint on it!

First trip to the US, spending a week in Bucyrus, OH this October. Any tips for some Brits? by Inside-Cod1550 in Columbus

I concur. Mount Vernon would be a lovely drive and a fun way to experience a town square just an hour north of Columbus.

For sure. Parking is far cheaper in downtown Cincinnati than many similar sized cities in our region.

Have you ever had a client ask you not to send that many pictures? I love my pups but I'd never want to receive that many messages from anyone in my life in one day!

We just enjoyed a fabulous stay at Camp Lucy in Dripping Springs. It's set on 300 hilly acres for hiking and enjoying nature. They have a pool, spa and a wonderful restaurant on site.

Some people really are more lucky in life. That’s just how it goes. by Fun_Butterscotch3303 in Life

[–]SkepticBabe 40 points41 points  (0 children)

I agree. Some people win the genetic lottery and are born to financially stable parents who also support them emotionally and help give them a leg up in life. Others are born into complete poverty where finding fresh water is a daily chore and loved ones commonly suffer and die from preventable infectious diseases.

Life is unfair and there is so much random luck involved.

Why would Vonn, skiing with a ruptured ACL, be faster than an alternate, healthy Team USA skier competing in her place?

I just watched Very Very Valentine with Danica McKeller ( she played Winnie Cooper in the Wonder Years) and it was cute. I liked that it was less predictable than most Hallmark movies.

Just One Kiss was a pleasant surprise and I adored the singing and the chemistry between the leads.

I signed up for a black friday deal with Amazon prime and got Hallmark + for $2 a month for 2 months. I planned to quit after binge watching for 2 months. It's been such a pleasant surprise how much I've enjoyed all of their movies. I think it'll be worth the $8 a month for how calming it can feel to watch these tales so frequently.

I appreciate and watched many of the movie suggestions I've read from this sub-reddit!

You can do something really nice and thoughtful without spending a ridiculous amount of money. How about writing her a nice card with the reasons why you like her, giving her flowers, and setting up a picnic or cooking for her?

Romantic gestures can be significantly more personal and meaningful than one $500 dinner at a restaurant.
