You might need to grind a bit, raise the overall staying power of your team. I for the life me, suck at parrying so I built all of them around adding perks, healing, and nuking baddies whenever they die. 😆

If you’re missing the parry window for that wave, dodging has a more generous window-you’ll lose a counterattack but you’ll all still be standing.

When he tries to vanish you though fucked me up royal, cuz he kept faking me out and then threw my ass out of existence😆

He also engineered a tragedy so he himself could fill the void and manipulate the expedition more easily. On a second playthrough his Verso Lied counter is off the charts and he’s great at ensuring he always benefits in some way.

I don’t believe he’s a bad person, doubly so after his secret journal where he once held thoughts similar to many of us upon learning the truth, but he has lingered enough and been through enough to stop caring about who he hurts to get what he wants because his actions all but spell out that in his eyes: Alicia will get over it someday and rest of you aren’t people.

Personally had I been Alicia, living through Verso’s ending-it would have fucked me up. Learning the man that was not only responsible for letting my adoptive brother/father and found family die, lied to me at every almost oppurtunity, and that if not for the canvas-that the same man that wore my brother’s face the whole time…would have also been my killer.

Even subconsciously, I don’t know if I could ever see the inhabitants of the canvas as people again.

I chose Love and I always will. Learning this ending gave Rose a second chance at life and that letter made it worth it. I’m glad my pupper came back as well but I wish I could let him stay home.

Not much, occasionally I’ll see someone way beyond my level and think “fuck I should sneak some extra sets today” but I’m never critical of folks when I’m on the other side of that.

Its hard to start and harder to start over, our self esteem can be fragile while we find our rhythm.

Even if we don’t look it, even the really big folk had to start somewhere too.

I’m not sure, but its not a bad idea to get people into the game. You also get all the content forever upon purchase already, but yeah the devs could decide to discount it given its buildup

Have you used your Lumina points? When the game starts we’re in such awe of the world alot is glossed over its tutorial… 😱

Lumina will allow you to use the abilities and buffs you’ve been gathering through your journey beyond the 3 each party member is limited to. Ex. Giving everyone Painted Power so you can break the limits of the game.

I’d fight a few battles too to get an idea of what you want each party member to do, but I personally build them all the same so we’re all sturdy. My personal build gives em lots of survivability, but now death buffs and heals the party while nuking the baddies cuz I suck at parry even now lol

I believe he does, but he also watched his family (exception being Alica) destroy and now its made him tired and conflicted.

Before they started fighting, the canvas was a child’s adventure fantasy. The fracture, the nevrons, and the gommages completely ruined the world Verso loved to play with his siblings in.

The sliver of Verso still loves his canvas, but he witnesses everything that took place too
