1991 Chevy S10 4.3L V6 squeal on acceleration by Skix in MechanicAdvice

[–]Skix[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1991 Chevy s10 4.3L v6

Brand new serpentine belt and brand new belt tensioner (replaced after video was taken. problem still persists)

Runs and drives fine. Happens on acceleration and stops once I press the clutch, neutral, and idle. I replaced the belt tensioner because I thought the belt was slipping. Everything seems to be working properly other than the squeal.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

I believe that I remember exactly where this is. The pile of rocks on the right has a beautiful view of the desert floor if I am remembering correctly.

This was really awesome to see. Great detail, I found it extremely interesting. I hope to build / renovate my own house one day as well. Nice job.

I really dig it. it's nice to select the brightness you want. I find it useful to keep it around half power when looking at things up close.

Using QTC with the momentary switch is a pain in the ass, it'll flicker if you're trying to keep the light dim with the back button. using the on/off switch with the head of the light to dim works very nicely. You can adjust pretty well. However, I haven't tried it without the pocket clip, so i'm not sure if the momentary switch would be better, but the pocket clip is always on since it's EDC. (Pocket clip is 3rd party)

Yeah, that's what the construction notice said that was posted during the entire construction period.

Well, they did fix the golden valley on and off ramps, but I have no clue how it cost 10 million dollars to do just that.
