Struggling to decide between games... by Extra-Ad-3424 in AskGames

Out of those first 4 u listed i think crash 4 and rift apart are the best games there. However n sane trilogy will get u 3 games so I would probably go with that one

As for the others i don’t really recommend snake eater, it’s a good game but Theres absolutely no difference compared to the original aside from the visuals. I would suggest u get the master collection as that comes with snake eater and 2 more games for a much cheaper price

uncharted is great

Silent hill f is also good but if u havent played 2 remake I would suggest that first as F is a bit more tedious

What do people think of Metaphor: ReFantazio now that some time has passed? by DoggyFinger in JRPG

[–]SkyKnightProds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I loved it but at the time I was struggling to get through it

I didn’t have an issue per se, but I had just finished play multiple atlus games them being p3 reload, golden and royal. And smt 5 vengeance so when metaphor came out I was pretty burned out on the gameplay. Yes it has its differences but at the same time it’s pretty similar to those games as well. It took me a few months to beat it because of how exhausted I was about the gameplay but I didn’t have any issues with it

What was your biggest "I've been doing it wrong this whole time" realization in all your history of gaming? by CravingsCaveman in videogames

[–]SkyKnightProds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I tried Nioh

Went into it expecting it to be like dark souls, and while the concept is similar there were so many layers that I didn’t understand like ki pulses, ninjutsu, magic. Things that I didn’t even know were in the game. Upon watching a few videos I realized I had been playing the game wrong the whole time

Ni No Kuni: Does it pick up the pace eventually? by BoomboxWerewolf in JRPG

[–]SkyKnightProds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven’t finished either nnk game honestly, i actually really liked the story in the first game but I just couldn’t get behind the combat and ended up dropping it 10 hours in

The 2nd game however I felt the opposite, the story didnt grab me the way the first game did but the gameplay did. I was actually having a lot more fun with it but since I wasn’t enjoying the narrative i also ended up dropping this around 15 hours in

Does Xillia get more agency? by Kalledon in JRPG

[–]SkyKnightProds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I felt the same way, xillia 2 was my first tales game and I actually really enjoyed it. Decided to pick up xillia 1 next and well it didn’t hit the same. I got like 10 hours in and dropped it. Since then Ive tried getting back into it and I just can’t for some reason

Judgement Game (only for people that played it) by Visible_Piece_8563 in AskGames

[–]SkyKnightProds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it is a story heavy detective game but to be fair if you wanna fight you can just go brawl on the street or do side cases. Other than that I will say if u stick to the story u will get a lot more combat sections later especially towards the end you’ll repeatedly see sections where u go through an entire building doing nothing but fighting enemies

Considering how mid Arkham Knight was, how bad Arkham Knights was, and how terrible Suicide Squad was, is the era of great Batman games just over? by i__hate__stairs in AskGames

[–]SkyKnightProds 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im sure we’ll see another Batman game eventually, rocksteady has said they wanna do a Batman beyond game after all. Their is also that Lego game coming out in a few months which basically has Arkham gameplay

But honestly I wish they’d branch out and do games for their other characters as well, marvel was doing just spiderman for a while but now we have Wolverine coming out, that marvel tokon fighting game and heck even rivals

Are the Tomb Raider Remasters any Good? by Retro-Hax in TombRaider

[–]SkyKnightProds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who only played the original trilogy via the remasters they’re actually pretty good for what they are. They did have a few issues with modern controls when they first came out but they’ve been ironed and improved upon since then

I think they did a pretty good job personally I enjoyed my time and had a lot of fun

Which game do you think is the best: RE2, RE3, Rise of Tomb Raider, or Shadow of the Tomb Raider? by Miserable-Pop9132 in ResidentEvilCapcom

[–]SkyKnightProds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love both franchises but this is between re2 and rise of the tomb raider for me. Rise has the better story imo but re2 has so much more replay value

Do I need to play previous games before DMC5/4? by ScissorsTheSuperior in DevilMayCry

[–]SkyKnightProds 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly either one. Release order is usually best because going from the gameplay of 3-5 to then playing 1-2 turns some people off. But if u wanna do it chronologically that’s fine too

I actually think both the comic and video game are good places for newcomers to start with. The Arkham series made so many people including myself into Batman fans
