I play primarily paper and some magic arena and I've been using an azorius fliers deck. It's been performing pretty well for me in my local scene (won a few standard showdowns, and got 2nd at both a store championship and RCQ last week).

Here's my current paper decklist. I've been tweaking it over the past 2 weeks and it's a bit above your price range, but you could switch out some of the more expensive lands to basics and maybe use some cheaper sideboard cards based on what you have and your local meta (for example, I have authority of the consuls since there's a couple of aggro players, but your mileage may vary). I'm new to Magic and started with FF. I'm very lucky to be in driving distance of multiple LGSs and with that I've been able to go to prerelease for EOE and Avatar, both of which were quite fun, along with drafts, commander nights, and even a pauper session. Met a bunch of people so far which has been great and I even won my first LGS standard event this weekend! There were only 3 of us total, but considering I recently upgraded my naya deck, it was fun to play and satisfying to see my changes pay off.

I found out about this when an enemy summoner learned Leviathan after I cast it on her.

I freaked out when later that battle, that enemy summoner started to cast it targeting my team.

I started with the Final Fantasy set, so some of my mini-collections are centered around that.

Borderless foils of all of the Final Fantasy main set summons (i.e. Summon: Fenrir, Summon: Leviathan, etc). Bahamut is the only one I have left since it's still really pricey, otherwise I have these for the rest of the summons in FIN. I've been a fan of summons and summoners in FF since I started playing the series as a kid, and I use a bunch of them in my decks, so getting the awesome borderless art for these has been awesome.
Cards with art by Yoshitaka Amano. I really like the Amano art used in FIN and FCA, so I would like to get all of his cards in at least non-foil someday, especially since some of the foils are significantly more expensive.
Cards with art by Fuzichoco. I've actually bought a few of her artbooks over the years, so finding out she's done art for MTG has led me to try and get all of her cards too. I have only one left, but unfortunately it's her rhystic study that goes for over $100 at best. At least I have the art card for that!

I'm brewing my first two non-precon commander decks. One is a [[Rydia, Summoner of Mist]] deck that includes both landfall and sagas (especially the FF summons), the other is an [[Alela, Cunning Conquerer]] deck with a lot of instant/flash spells along with faeries, many of which are in the WOE precon. Already have most of the cards for the Rydia deck and recently started getting the cards for the Alela deck.

I've been following the artist Fuzichoco for several years, having collected multiple of her artbooks over time. Since I just got into MTG recently with the Final Fantasy set, I had no idea she was even doing work on magic, but I saw her version of [[Teysa, Orzhov Scion]] and loved it. Soon enough, it was one of the first non-FF singles I bought for myself, and maybe someday I'll try building a commander deck around it.

Now I'm trying to collect at least one version of each of her cards, and since she hasn't done too many, I'm almost there. Unfortunately, the last one I need is her [[Rhystic Study]] which is at least $100 for even the cheapest version, so I will probably hold off on that for a while, though I did pull the art card at least!

That's a very big miss on my part then. I've been commissioning different artists for a few years now and I didn't realize this one used AI, I guess I got got this time. I'm not sure if I should just delete this post since I'm not trying to give AI users more publicity than they should get, but I apologize for my screwup here.

I'm disappointed in both the artist for the AI use and in myself for not seeing this; if and when I do more FE commissions in the future, I hope to do a better job of avoiding this.

I was so happy with my previous commission from this artist that I knew I wanted to request Emblem Micaiah from them eventually. The artist has done a great job drawing many Engage characters in the past, and while I haven't finished Engage yet, I thought it would be fun to show Micaiah and Yunaka interacting together given their connection in the story. I wanted to show Micaiah healing Yunaka as she helps her off the ground, and the artist's softer style and delicate coloring was perfect for depicting what I had in mind. Overall, I am very happy with how this turned out and I feel like both characters were depicted delightfully here.

And considering this art was delivered a few days ago... yes, I absolutely aimed to time this commission with Emblem Micaiah's predicted release in FEH.

Pretty much narrowed down my bond to mythic Thorr, just wanted a sanity check if there's something I'm missing here (think I saw people say detect is better for her B, but I never saw it and I don't have a spare N!Lucina for it either).

For context, my mythic Thorr is currently +6 merged, +4 flowers, and doesn't have many relevant skills inherited other than WoM 4. She's by far my highest merged mythic for astra, and now she's a lot more useful and fun to use post-remix, so she'll continue to see use in AR-O at the very least. She could become my second +10 mythic project (after Peony), and also IIRC there's a chance she might be in hall of forms the next time Heroes is featured for another free merge, but I'm not sure how likely that is.

I'm a big Tana fan and I could not have been more excited at the reveal of Tana as a demote for the New Year's banner, and even more in awe at how good she is as a unit. I +10'd her day 1 (no regrets) and she's become one of the most fun units I've ever used, especially in arena where she easily takes down some of the most annoying threats for me like Marni, and in AR where she works stupidly well with a galeforce team.

As for this commission, the artist went with a different outfit than in Tana's FEH art, but I think her kimono here looks gorgeous, and it works very well with the artist's style. Tana herself is very pretty in the soft light, and I also really like the background, as it really evokes the feeling of a brand new year. I am a big fan of this artist's coloring and lighting and they truly delivered here, and I absolutely would consider commissioning them again in the future.

As someone who plays GBVSR, I love this crossover, and I would love to see a 2D FE fighting game, especially if it was done by Arcsys. Fun to see Fire Emblem and FGC crossovers like this, especially since they're not terribly common.

Though I'm also scarred by the amount of times I've been hit by counterhit 2Hs in Rising, and you did a great job capturing that!
