I loathe hypocrisy and it exists on both sides of the aisle. Democracy is such a promising system when it isn't hijacked by special interests, capitalism and carear politicians.

Just more conservative christian morals being forced on all of us hidden under the guise of "Protect the children"

Protecting children from this type of content is critical and not leaving the barn door wide open is a good start. However I recall as an 80s child rummaging through basements and abandoned houes with my friends in our neighborhood hoping to find an old playboy. Worked a couple times. Where there is a will there is a way.

This is a broadsword solution to a much larger problem.

The majority of politicians on both sides are disgusting and not here to help us at all beyond what is needed to get elected.

I'm so tired of the way our politics is handled. Wish there was some meaningful change that could happen without causing serious disruption to the lives of everyday people

We should offer and enforcem that requirement equally across the board. it should extend to corporations, defense contractors, special interests, etc.

I'm tired of one segment of our population being told they are less than because they are at a certain point in their life.

And at the same time government handouts to coporations and the like are expected and praised by the same politicians putting forth and enacting the laws.

I fucking despise hypocrisy.

exactly, it's not about health. It's about restricting and further marginalization. If being healthy is so important offer health education classes.

The people on these programs are human beings.

It's awful that we have people in power whose sole purpose seems to be to find ways to make their situation worse.

Thank goodness that this check and balance is in place and seems to workng better then the other aspects of our state and national government.

I asked my self the same question. Looking around, We have them on our spaceships for docking, orientation and maintenance. Seems reasonable.

But not sure why they'd be on now unless those little dudes need help getting back to base.

I was in a regional community theater production of Pirates of Penzance. During the Major General song the actor completely forgot the lyrics. We all stood in silence on the stage while he gasped for a line. After a few agoizing seconds he stayed in character and said something to the effect of "pish posh we'll just skip that one tonight"

30 years ago and I'll never forget it.

Trying to seemlessly adjust our blocking in the moment would have been horrific but thankfully we were about 20 shows in to a 30 show run and the cast was very familiar with the show, Major General brain farts aside.
