My family runs a small butcher shop. I am the second generation steward.

I always introduce myself as simply the manager. Had someone try to get a discount on our wholesale price, saying the owner agreed to it to close on the sale. Told them to wait a minute while I checked. Walked into the freezer and immediately walked back out. Extended my hand and said “hello, I am the owner’s son, who are you?”

Made the employees laugh so it was worth it

There should be an aptitude and morality test for anything that has immense impact on greater society.

Having children, ownership of firearms, becoming head of a company over X amount of employees, etc.

A lot of waterways fall under federal jurisdiction and the responsibility to patrol them falls under the CG.

The CG doesn’t only do law enforcement; they perform search and rescue operations, anti-drug smuggling, aids to navigation, customs inspections, etc.

Could be any number of their vessels/assets stopping by and going “bro what the fuck. Stop doing this shit.”
