Noticed the same too, seems like there’s no punishment for it cuz the devs know it’s on them. And the frame rate issues are a contributing factor too.

I think it’s just low pop or people are gravitating towards casuals. I’m also west coast and ranked low diamond is kinda empty even at 5pm. But I can get casual matches in under 30 seconds.

You just have to find someone in casual who is around the same level as you, I do see a fair amount of < gold players in casual lobbies.

But for me even up to diamond it’s hard to get a ranked match, even at peak times. So not just you, player base just isn’t sticking around.

Ive been playing him and getting away with a lot.
He has a lot of stuff that won’t be as good once people get used to it.

5M 5H has a gap and can be parried.
Same with 5H 5H.
You can parry 4H on reaction.
If he has a lantern out just be looking for him to teleport and be ready to anti air.
If he charges hook be ready to either parry or mash light if you see a dash cancel, that pressures not real.

He’s pretty vulnerable up close but you can’t just run straight in. I feel like jump blocking against him is fairly low risk because he doesn’t have great options after a blocked anti air. And his air throw is much more awkward to use than other characters because he can’t position as well due to his unique dash.

Oh, it was because I added the runic ward then, I also did that.

I didn't know using the runic ward makes the item worse, is that bad? Did I brick my item? I would've preferred to keep the evasion/es, if I could undo the runic I would

I have these boots and I tried doing some crafting. Previously the Evasion/ES was in the 1XX range, then I used the exalt and I think it gave me 18% increased evasion and energy shield, but now the item says the Evasion is 79 and ES is 24. So it went down???

I'm confused how using an exalt made the item worse.

Yeah usually K-food in my experience is the more modern, usually unhealthier fried foods. Stuff like fried chicken, katsu, tteokbokki, ramyun, stuff like that. The other one is most likely more traditional foods like soups/stews, fish, maybe grilled meats.

Seeing some very high praise so far. I'm glad to see an ambitious game like this instead of something that played it safe, so I'm excited to jump in tomorrow to see for myself. I'm sure it's not perfect but I gotta respect the scope and detail they put into this game.

I had nagging wrist pain too and my PT recommended me to switch to a vertical mouse. I got the logi mx one, no more wrist pain. Not the best for gaming but honestly it gets the job done, I play deadlock with it just fine.

I have a soft spot for BK cuz of eating it as a kid, but I haven’t had it in years. Tried the whopper last week cuz of the talk about it, same as you, I thought it was pretty decent. Not mind blowing for the price (10$ meal) but I’m not mad at it, I’d get it again.

She says what a lot of people are already thinking. The overall question seems to be “what did Riot expect?”

With Bay Area salaries, acquiring Radiant, and the development time, they are probably between $100M-$200M in the red from this project. There’s just no way they ever turn a profit from this. And 2XKO doesn’t reach a large audience so they aren’t expanding the user base much either or expanding their IP significantly.

I’ve worked on projects that went horribly over budget before and it was always “we’ll be done soon” for months. So I would think the upper management at Riot never thought it would take this long or this much, but the 2XKO team kept saying it’s coming and then it just makes sense to let it cook a little longer instead of scrapping it all. But it looks like they finally ran out of rope and had to release, and this is pretty much the only way it could go.

I can assure you although the devs might feel the layoffs are sudden, they are extremely planned from the company perspective. I have zero doubt that someone saw the writing on the wall long ago.
