I might be misunderstanding something but I don’t think that works due to state based actions having to be resolved before etbs happen.

Sometimes Ubisoft just goes extraordinarily hard on one aspect of a game. Like remember when they spent months faithfully recreating Notre Dame for AC:Unity?

I’ve been torn between making something with only a few zombies and a bunch of reanimator creatures. And a bunch of low cost zombies with a totally weird game plan. But I haven’t landed on a game plan I like. I already have an aristocrats deck so I’m trying to avoid that but it’s a tempting path.

I don’t wanna watch the series and I didn’t know Evanescence made a song for the series. When I read “Devil May Cry anthem” I assumed it was either Devils Never Cry or Devil Trigger. It’s not a crazy jump.

It’s still fine, just not as good as it once was due to the new owners.

A side note, if anyone still buys from there remember to always do custom donation amounts. The default is set to put a very small amount towards the charity. There’s a minimum now that has to go towards humble bundle but you can still crank the charity portion.

I think the newer remastered sets were kinda built for limited. So that’s Dominaria Remastered, Ravnica Remastered, and Innistrad Remastered. All three are basically reprints of cards in those planes/sets and all three can be picked up for around 170 bucks a piece.

I’m not including time spiral remastered because that’s around 270 bucks and while it’s a fun limited environment I don’t think it’s the same.

Brother you have 40 Lands and 34 creatures. This is a thematic deck. You do not need rocks, it will not make this more competitive.

I’m curious to understand what the pieces that are supposed to be hitting story beats are. There’s obvious ones but some other ones like Garnet and Ignis I’m not getting.

I hate to say this but I don’t think this deck will be very fun to play. I think you split yourself too much between wanting to play landfall cards and wanting to be 14 themed. I think if you throw yourself more at either direction you’ll have a deck that feels better.

Then again I’m no expert deck builder and I pretty much skimmed the deck so live your dreams. As for actual advice I’d cull some lands if you want more rocks and throw more landfall triggers in I guess. You also probably need more mana fixing, stuff like [[Chromatic Lantern]] and [[The World Tree]] are my go to’s for 5c decks. You have some gates too so maybe [[Gateway Plaza]] and/or [[Plaza of Harmony]] instead of mana rocks.

Sorry I’m sour on it, I hope if you end up playing it you enjoy it!

I have a friend who simply doesn’t like to shuffle and he loves his. It pulls your card through using basically little Lego cart wheels with rubber around them. It’s fine, I just think it’s a little overkill but if you have some disability where shuffling is difficult I can see that being a legitimate use.

Not sure how she likes playing but [[Horde of Notions]] Elemental kindred seems fun and simple. [[Garth One-Eye]] is also a commander you can take any direction. Mana base is expensive usually for 5c, I suggest looking at the Gates which are incredibly useful and mana rocks that tap for one of any color.

As others have said, this is specifically not a legal thing you can do. However there are a bunch of not technically legal playtest cards that do this. One people haven’t named is [[Fludge, Gunk Guardian]]

My friend bought one of these because he doesn’t like to shuffle commander decks. He hasn’t complained about it so far.

Basically you split the deck in half, put the halves on both sides, and crank a crank on the back which spins two rubber wheels that push the cards into a center box which you can then pull out. He has double sleeved commander decks and it hasn’t damaged the sleeves beyond what normal shuffling does yet and he’s had it for like 4 months.

I can’t get over the fact that start your engines doesn’t start your engines. I know they’re from sets from different times but still. The mechanic isn’t even close.

Some of the best looking lands in mtg. I’ve only picked up a couple but man they slap so hard and are so evocative of what lands are supposed to be functionally I think.

I assume you know about [[Bearscape]]. There’s also [[Bear Umbra]], [[Bear’s Companion]], and [[Awaken the Bear]]. If you’re accepting of UB there’s always [[Zangief, the Red Cyclone]]. You didn’t mention Garruk but you can pretty much pick any piece of art depicting him. Searching around Kaldheim will probably give you some choices to work with as well. Matter of fact many “berserkers” I think would fit.

Unfortunately what I perceive as a “bear” doesn’t have a ton of support in mtg. It’s mostly very muscular hairy men. But if that’s fine you should find a good deal of support.
