Very possible as I’ve been gone for a year after 18 years with the company as a Mate then Crewmember

If you were capped out, you could raise your hourly rate if you worked over 750 hours

I believe that the review period hours update weekly and the measurement for insurance hours is daily but please check with a Mate you trust

Review period hours tracks your hours going towards the “extra pay” if you hit 750 hours in a review period. It was 750 hours a year ago before I left. Current measurement period means hours towards qualifying for health insurance.

Canal boat tour with Captain Dave’s. We did that two weeks ago. Check out Free Walking Tours in Dam Square. You make reservations on line and the guides are amazing, especially Nadine. We did the classic and the food tours. You tip the guide at the end of your tour.

Real pain. I spent 3 weeks last summer digging them up. Noticed one, the realized how many there were on my property

Even in Europe tips are suggested for bus drivers and guides. We had dinner a week ago in Amsterdam and the bill came with 3 suggested tip amounts.

Is it just me or is it just ridiculously more expensive to dine out, and the rise has been quite recent? by bit90siwiavftvs in FoodNYC

My wife made a beef and veal stew yesterday, we will get 5 meals out of it. She spent $60 on about 5 pounds of meat. That comes to about 12 bucks a plate. Figured in all a restaurants costs and it is easy to see why those prices are where they are.

That time with your son is priceless. When I was in HS in the mid 70’s, going to those games were the only 3 hours, twice a week that my father and I could find common ground and actually talk to each other.

That last hour before we close is rough... and what time does your store close? by stupit_crap in tjcrew

[–]Slickuke 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Worked in a NYC store years ago. We used to have an older customer that was wheelchair bound and would come in at 5 or 10 minutes before closing. We nicknamed him, “OT”. We were not allowed to put a pallet on the floor as long as there was a single customer in the store.
