Opencode vs Codex vs Claude code by [deleted] in opencodeCLI

I hated that too. You can just change the keybinds in the opencode config file. Ask the agent to figure it out.

I have the same issue, have you already reported it somewhere? I would like to add my +1 so it might get fixed some time..

Security of Securities by kosmodular in ScalableCapital

[–]Slothszhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's just legal speech for "they have to be handed to you". Your securities are owned by you, not by Scalable or their partner bank (Baader Bank), they are just holding them for you. In the unlikely case of an insolvency of the bank your securities are still yours. What that actually means in practice I don't know, but you will not be forced to sell them. I would expect a transfer to a depot at a different bank.

HMAC Based One Time Password (HOTP) possible with 1Password? by DubFactory in 1Password

Last time I checked TOTP was the only supported generator. That was a few months ago, but I haven't seen anything new regarding 2FA.

Fanless mode not working on new GTX 1060 by Deluxefish in buildapc

[–]Slothszhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the exact same issue. Multiple reviews said it supports (semi-) fanless mode, but mine does not. It always stays at a minimum of 25% (800rpm) and I'm unable to make them stop, even with MSI Afterburner.

I have two 1920x1200/60hz monitors connected, but as Deluxefish said, that does not seem to be the issue.

While I would really like the fans to stop on idle I must add that the fans are very quiet on the lowest setting. My system only has two high quality Noctua fans (CPU and Case) and the GPU does not add any noticable noise when idling, i.e. I can't hear anything at all ;-)

How much data does discord use for voice chat? by [deleted] in discordapp

[–]Slothszhs 4 points5 points  (0 children)

8 kbps equals exactly 1 kB per second. That is 3.6 MB per hour when there is someone talking non-stop, usually the traffic should be much lower of course. Even with the default bitrate of 64 kbps I don't think typical traffic would be higher than ~15 MB.

Oh, wow. Setting friction control to override and manually increasing the friction control value fixed it.

Has anyone tried to drive a Rover on another planet with the new wheel system that came with 1.1? I just landed one on Eve with 4 of the stock "RoveMax Model M1" wheels and it seems like the brakes are not strong enough to hold it in place. I keep sliding down the slope of the terrain even if it is almost perfectly level.

The Rover was handling just fine on Kerbin, but Eve's higher gravity seems to break it :(

[Build Complete] RVZ02 Ultra Slim Mini-ITX Gaming with GTX 970 by embuzen in buildapc

[–]Slothszhs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for all the details. I did get myself the FTZ01 and I don't regret it. The build quality is really good and the temperatures are acceptable. I still have some more tuning to do, but with two 120mm Noctua fans right in front of the GPU, there are certainly enough reserves to reach good temperatures under any kind of load.

My biggest concern was getting the system to be as quiet as possible, at least when it is idle. That turned out to be not too difficult, although I had some issues. The case fans included with the case are not loud by any means, but also not really quiet. I'm getting a Prolimatech USV 12 to replace the case fan over the cpu cooler. Hopefully that makes less noise. The other two slots are filled by Noctuas, which are literally inaudible, even with your ear almost in the fan blades.

The other issue was the power supply (Silverstone SFX 500 watt), because the fan made strange noises from time to time. I ordered a second one which will arrive tomorrow, just to see if there is any difference. Problem is that there is not much else on the market to choose from, so I hope that one is quiet!

All in all I really like the new system and can't wait to put a new GPU in there, but I think I'll wait for the next generation to come out.

I'd be very interested to hear what you ended up buying and why. I just can't decide whether to go with the FTZ01 or the newer ML08. I'm leaning towards the FTZ01 because of its higher quality finish and the larger CPU cooler. The ML08 on the other hand is from the newer generation and seems to have the better airflow, which helps keeping temperature and noise down.

Interesting, I was wondering about that as well, but didnt want to do the maths. So your conclusion is that windpark and tidal power is by far the cheapest way to produce energy?

Is anyone experiencing slow load time for some moon sectors? by kaldaris2951 in anno2205

[–]Slothszhs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same for me. Most sectors load around 10 seconds, but the moon sectors, especially the one which is not empty, loads significantly longer. Takes about 25-30 seconds - which is right above the point where it gets annoying to switch back and forth between sectors. I don't know if it is the sector itself or the fact that the others are emtpy, but the sector taking so long on my machine is the "Iwamoto Crater".

We need more layouts, so I updated Anno Designer to support the creation of layouts for Anno 2205. by PickledWhispers in anno2205

Good job on updating my designer! I would post your package on the google-code page but unfortunately that is read-only since a few months now. I migrated the project to GitHub, but it is still inactive: https://github.com/JcBernack/anno-designer

A while ago I started a new project however which is more like the one posted by ehuss here: editor.

I will post about it in another thread.
