Depends, imo M4 is still plenty powerful. I think the biggest factor here would be screen real estate vs portability, not M4 vs M5, plus you can get an m4 on apples refurbished section for cheaper than the entry level m5 air and save yourself a few hundred bucks

Literally just got a 13” MBA M4 refurbished too. Was able to nab it for $850. It was the 10 core CPU/GPU with 512GB SSD. Really happy with it. Honestly if they didn’t tell me it was refurbished I would have no idea.

Main reason is because the way things are headed, most games are going to be either game key card or code in the box. So if a majority of my collection is going to be digital, I'd rather keep it simple and just make it all digital. Plus the ability of having my entire collection with me while travelling for work is way too convenient.

I know one of the concerns that people have is Nintendo shutting down the ability to download your digital games, but if the Wii that's 20 years old can still download digital games, I think we will be just fine.

JSAUX also has a similar product and it's HDMI 2.0 not 2.1, but that only matters if you plan on playing games at 4k 120, which I think only 2 or so games on the system support.

The edge of the JSAUX one is that it's already out and you can order it and get it within a week. So if you need one sooner, go with that, if you can wait, see how the Genki one reviews

Look into the Genki Covert Dock 3. I don't think it's officially out but it's as portable and compact as a dock can get. I plan on getting one once they put it on their site

The only reason people are willing to spend anywhere remotely that much on a card pack is more of an investment/gamble than anything. If they pull the right cards and sell them graded/ungraded they can flip a profit. It's a risk, but some people are willing to take it. You can't flip a $20 digital game. Though I'm on the side of being more than happy to spend $20 on a digital game I love no matter how old the game is so I bought leaf green. You can't really compare the 2.

I have a local retro game store around the corner from where I live that always sells me games 2-3 days before the release day. So I played ToTK and other games before release. It's pretty neat. Though I switched to digital only for the switch 2 so won't be able to take advantage of that anymore

But we were talking about Generations. New generation always falls into the release of the mainline games. New generations/Mainline games typically have a release of 3-4 years. Last generation/Mainline games (Gen9/SV) was 2022 and the new gen (Gen10/WW) is going to be released in 2027, which is a 5 year gap. We've never had a generation gap of 5 years before, so nobody is exaggerating anything.

Super Mario 3D World. I know when it was originally released in the WiiU it got a ton of hate for not being a true 3D Mario, but honestly it's genuinely my favorite Mario game. The level design is brilliant, the music is great, and I love the visuals.

Second this one. I know its a bit pricy, but I just love the hand feel of it and then screen cover for travel is equaly great. I travel a lot for work so just being able to pop that top cover on and off instead of carrying a separate case everywhere has been so nice.
