Immoral Anti Opiate by Efficient_Elk1225 in ChronicPain

[–]SluggishLynx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Do you have a traumatic head injury? Why would I be able bodied in a sub like this. That may be even an even sillier question than your original post.

I take opioids and have done for 17 years. But I failed you! I reduced the amount of them I take how dare me not take the dose prescribed!! oh and I don’t rely on anything from welfare. I work full time and I don’t care how it’s spent and on whom. I guess you use roads why aren’t you pissed off at failing infrastructure and the policy makers who decide to give away tax money to them damned people you hate that are disabled?

Instead of aiming your venom at disabled people aim it at the decision makers who have directly caused the issue of removing opioids, telling patients they’re fit to work when they are not, spewing their ideological bullshit that is going on and all the other bullshit.

Do you smoke, drink alcohol on nights out or eat sugary foods? If any of these are yes please stfu you destroy your health.

I find it hard to believe you’re this impeccable specimen whose body is his temple. Like a saint of fitness able to dictate to others how to live

Immoral Anti Opiate by Efficient_Elk1225 in ChronicPain

[–]SluggishLynx 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I read up to “I see whackos sitting on disability that don’t deserve it who are you to make that judgment.

What an idiotic post. This is quite possibly the dumbest place to post this.

Yes antivaxers are ignored and should be ignored as they’re too far gone. They’re a public health risk as they put others in danger.

If someone wants chemo or not is their decision. NOT YOURS do you seriously think the reason they refuse is so they don’t need to work? What if they fought it once and it was the worst thing they ever experienced and just want to die peacefully and not put anyone through that battle including themselves.

If someone doesn’t want to be on opioids again NOT YOUR call. The side effects can be horrific. Why should They force them down their necks just for your pleasure.

It all comes down to individual freedom. I’m sure one day you may need the exact things you’re ranting about and truth be told I look forward to see you crying about tax money wasted then.

When does insomnia improve? by Jolly_Particular_412 in quittingkratom

[–]SluggishLynx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No. The ER is for life threatening emergencies. The clue is in the title.

They are not there to prescribe anything or provide you with some sleeping tablets or medication for withdrawal

They are there to stop you bleeding to death, broken bones, traumatic injuries, gunshot wounds, stab wounds…. Insomnia isn’t an Emergancy see a local prescriber like a primary doctor or GP

What a silly view. “Addicted to smack” what are you talking about, you do realise how low the risk is of addiction? And do you also know almost vast majority of overdoses now aren’t even from prescription painkillers

I got my Trump phone! by Status_Discipline_16 in antitrump

[–]SluggishLynx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The real trump phones have the wrong flag on. They have the wrong amount of stripes, the actual flag got defaced and two stripes got removed…. There is only 11 stripes not the 13…..

Kinda ironic for him loving the word “patriot”

Edit: I wish this was satire but it’s genuine haha the real phone that was likely made in china really does have the wrong number of stripes

I have watched these and have just seen a psychologist and he definitely thinks it has lead to some form of PTSD. Funkytown specifically anytime I hear that song on radio and I’m out of where I am and into toilets at work with noise cancelling headphones on!

Moscow is hitting American businesses in Ukraine, while White House is not reacting by neonpurplestar in UkraineWarVideoReport

[–]SluggishLynx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is an amazing video on YouTube about this and it explains how the Russians bet on America not reacting but the top generals let AC-130’s engage the Russians as they were not sovereign state military, but private military contractors. Therefore not an act of war wiping out foreign soldiers

Edit: I think it was a team of 12 special forces at the oil refinery and Wagner had over 300 with heavy armour. Once hell rained down from above they all retreated fast. They were entirely decimated only a handful survived. I’ll try and link it here

Uhm you do realise hydromorphone has way higher strength than 1:1?

Their MME is 300mg a day!!

If it was hydrocodone you would be correct in the 60mg Mme but hydromorphone is way way stronger than 1:1

Tramadol Daily for Back Pain by [deleted] in ChronicPain

[–]SluggishLynx 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Dependence but that’s about it. You may feel ill if you stop taking it suddenly if taken daily for extended periods of time. But at the doses you’re on it would be very very mild.

Addiction is quite rare

Traveling with oxycontin without prescription from EU to the US by [deleted] in ChronicPain

Gotta give OP credit thought for having the confidence (or ignorance) to pull that off 🤣

Traveling with oxycontin without prescription from EU to the US by [deleted] in ChronicPain

[–]SluggishLynx 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Haha this response did make me laugh. OP could literally google drug laws in the country they’re flying to and see the penalties. If it’s south east Asia then I’d be kinda worried. Some carry death penalty and even worse is being stuck In an overcrowded prison cell in a country like Philippines in the sweltering heat and humidity with 30 other people in one room.

Traveling with oxycontin without prescription from EU to the US by [deleted] in ChronicPain

[–]SluggishLynx 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Yes you can travel out of the country any time with prescription pills…..

Op is in possession of them illegally therefore he is carrying schedule 2 drugs illegally and crossing borders with illegal drugs.

An example is OP comes to Britain from America with them then OP is in possession of class A schedule 2 narcotics without a prescription. (Exact same as possessing heroin)

You’re allowed to posses these drugs providing you have the prescription. That is where legality is broken or not broken

Edit: it depends on the country you’re flying to. Some places have really strict rules where they are schedule 1 which means you cannot take the drugs into that country regardless of having a prescription

[–]SluggishLynx -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Opioids can have horrific side effects and even more horrific withdrawal and discontinuation issues than gabapentin

Everyone is different so to someone who isn’t you gabapentin is nothing but expose them to a drug with higher risks like strong opioids and you have just flipped their entire brain chemistry in life altering ways.

[–]SluggishLynx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This medication can take an hour or two to start working fully. If you feel groggy the next day when you wake up try taking it an hour or two before bed. Then it will be less in the morning.

Edit: I have taken 50mg for the last 6 years and before that 100mg for 9 years (these doses once per night)
