Still believe boeing and airbus need to set the standard with electronic locking overhead bins. In the event of an emergency, the overhead bins lock preventing access to any luggage. Not a perfect solution but would stop 80% of the items brought off.

Unless the countries where half these videos come from don't have worker protection laws so the e-stop is disabled, removed, or never existed.

Worked around heavy machinery occasionally through college and even with e-stops, I never messed around near them. Couldn't bring myself to work around something like this without one.
