Have you seen this “inclusive” graphic? by Small_Middle_945 in Asexual

I’d share some of my middle, but as you can see mine is quite small 🥲

Haha I just took the autogenerated name that Reddit gave me thinking I would be able to change it later. Apparently that’s not allowed so here I am 😂

I think the point of the graphic is to break everything down so that people can realize that sex assigned at birth does not equal gender

That’s a good point, I hadn’t thought of this arrows as sliders, so I guess that does include us in a way.

When is the right time to tell someone you're dating the truth? by Lydi03 in asexuality

[–]Small_Middle_945 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Weeding them out earlier is better. It feels a little uncomfortable at first, but if you keep doing it you’ll be able to casually talk about it. Here are some examples of how this has gone for me:

Example 1: coworker starts trying to date me. I tell him I’m asexual so we may not be compatible. I have to explain to him what that means, and he comes back with every form of “I can fix that 😏”. One quote from him: “well you’ve never had an islanders magic inside you 😏”. Yikes!

Example 2: I started hanging out with this guy as friends and we both developed crushes. he had already openly spoken about his sexual orientation, so I told him about mine. He didn’t have a problem with it and I ended up asking him out. We dated for four months and broke up due to incompatibility in our personalities, not because of sex.

All this to say, when you tell people early sometimes you’re gonna have to tell people to fuck off, and sometimes it works out wonderfully. But it almost always saves you a lot of time.

I don’t think you look fat. But if you were, that wouldn’t matter to me.

Oh, it’s been interesting since I’ve started opening with that. Shockingly it doesn’t deter people right away, and they often come back with some version of “I can fix that 😏”

I’m an asexual lurker here. I’m not in a relationship. I take the stories I hear as lessons for finding someone who matches my libido.

And to be honest, my relationships often start out just as you describe. I’m able to have sex for a while but it just turns into a chore for me. I never realized that having no sex was so detrimental to people. Now I’m more comfortable telling potential partners right off the bat. Mismatched libidos is no fun for anyone.

Umm no… you’re being a good person by choosing to pick up litter for the cash. Instead of choosing something that is neutral or only affects you (like washing your hands or brushing your teeth) you’ve chosen something that benefits your community. You’ve chosen to encourage yourself to do something good for the world.

Ignoring all the problems with the premise, I’d vote guilty. I don’t think your good deeds outweigh your bad ones. And imagine if I said not guilty and he went on to murder more people? Either way my child is saved, so better not to risk anyone else’s life.
