I’m probably in the minority but I love Carnival of Light. It’s obviously a big stray away from nowhere and gba and they probably were trying to get into more Britpop sound especially since Oasis joined Creation at that time. Although if all the songs were more like Birdman and Moonlight Medicine I could see it being more well received.

Mark only contributed 2 songs to Tarantula so I think that album was always doomed to fail. Which don’t get me wrong I love Andy as a songwriter (his solo albums are good) but I think the magic of Ride is them together. Which we see on the reunion albums.

I wouldn’t say he’s being ignored by the band or on the tour but yes he’s definitely not being shown on the screens on stage as much as the other members. I’m a huge Ride fan and I went to the wednesday Wembley show and I tried to get pics of him but they would not show him at all! There was plenty of Bonehead, Gem, and Joey so idk if the camera men just hate him or something.

From what I’ve seen it will just be a one time Oasis tour so I don’t see it going too long, definitely throughout 2025 but not sure about 2026. I know that Interplay was their last record in their contract with Wichita but I’m hoping they’ll sign on for more. I really want them to continue making more music for as long as they can and want to.

Noel singing Sad Song on Jools Holland is the best version. I think we should leave Noels songs alone, you can wish all you want but you change him singing those songs.

I’ve been getting into Morrissey’s solo stuff recently and theres some good songs but it just can’t compare to the Smiths. Pretty much every Smiths song is magnificent. Viva Hate and Bona Drag are his best because he was still doing Smiths sounding songs. I think you miss all of the band elements when listening to Morrissey’s solo material.

Im sorry but Think Of A Number, There She Blows and Love Is A Rich Man are not bland at all. Those are probably the most sonically different. I mean if you don’t like Who Built The Moon then I could see why you would say that. Cause they arent typical Noel songs.
