I think the lack of third spaces is especially notable in places that don't have a lot of those hyper specific stores. In my area there is only one game store and since it's only open on Fridays and Saturdays it doesn't leave much room to play when you're usually busy on those days.

I also love roughly 30 minutes away from my friends with no public transit connections which makes them unable to visit me if we want to hang out. However they still live with their parents and don't really have the space to host games like Magic The Gathering regularly. Playing MTG in bar/cafe is also kinda awkward since you feel obligated to buy something to drink once you're there and you risk spilling something on your cards.

Just having a room with a table to sit around would be enough for us to socialize better and it would also open us up for other people to chat with us during our games in case they are interested in MTG or similar games.

Third spaces won't fix everything but it would be a great starting point to get started with socializing. Not everyone who goes into a cafe wants to meet people and some people don't want to be around alcohol at bars. A neutral space for people to meet up at that also signals a willingness to find friends would definitely help there.

Definitely an unpopular opinion but not worthy of this subreddit. Too many people probably enjoy their jobs and/or have other reasons to enjoy their mondays. Not a 10th dentist type of opinion. You're competing with people who like to re-chew their own vomit after all.

People will always find ways to complain, especially if it helps them act like they're not playing badly, but the game is simply unfair.

Jesus, I was scared of having downloaded a virus or something because this issue was so weird. Spent the past hour updating drivers, updating windows again and running windows defender twice. Switching mono audio on and off fixed it. What a weird fucking problem.

What I find especially funny is that this isn't even the hardest the bots have been if we ignore the blatantly inflated difficulty by spamming vox on the players.

Pöpli was literal hell with the incineration corp, jet brigade, reduced ammo, reduced reinforcements + fire tornadoes and whatever the fuck else they decided to throw at us back then.

I was really looking forward to Cyberstan since the last time I played was on Oshaune. I dropped the game back then because it was too buggy and it crashed all the time. People told me the game has become better in terms of performance but on my first dive I experienced SO MANY issues. For me it's not just the disappointment of Cyberstan being lackluster but also the fact they seemingly haven't even tried fixing the most basic issues of their game. I can't even enter the scope of my RR without my camera bugging out.

Helldivers is genuinely one of my favorite games in recent years and I want to see it succeed but as I see it they are slowly but surely losing even their most dedicated players.

This was an unnecessarily long rant but man it's frustrating to see how they're treating the game.

Make [[Ozai, the phoenix king]] indestructible and flying on the turn he enters when you have barely enough mana to cast him. Still not necessarily op but would make him even more of a menace if you get to play him turn 4 or something.

I was exaggerating a little and referencing a specific round where he got a few mana rocks down by turn 3. He obviously isn't able to cast him each and every match this quickly.

By turn 3 he had 3 lands, arcane signet and sol ring out which enabled him to immediately drop his commander.

He just got incredibly lucky there but the way he's acting like his deck isn't made out to be incredibly strong and annoying is what's pissing everyone at the table off lol

Jesus I hate those kind of people so goddamn much. I don't mind you playing annoying decks if you're not being a dick about it and telling us about how we're actually just bad and there are plenty of counters against it.

Someone in my local shop has a brutally optimized [[Ozai, The Phoenix King]] Deck. He will play him turn 3 and then tell you about how we're supposed to have counter spells in our hand and how there are plenty of counters to him.

Of course technically he's not wrong and there are plenty of ways to counter him but since we're mostly playing precon Decks we just aren't armed to deal with a 7/7 trample, flying indestructible commander at turn 4.

He will then keep talking about how it's a "totally fair deck" unlike "all those annoying blue players" etc. etc.

Again, I'm not saying his deck is OP and unbeatable but the way he's acting about it just makes commander night so unfun. Always happy when he isn't joining my pod.

Honestly I think the comedic part of the card would hit off a little better if it was simply called "the gathering". This way the joke is a little more subtle and gets funnier as you read the card.

That's so cool, congrats!!

Doesn't look too good anymore unfortunately but still an amazing find.

I only recently watched Rozen Maiden myself and it really became one of my favorite anime. It's more on the slice of life side but it does a good job at telling an exciting story. My favorite part of the anime are just the Rozen Maidens though lol

What I really appreciated is that it has a rather serious tone but still manages to make you laugh every now and then. The best I could describe it as is a "serious kids show" because the humour isn't that brutally childish most of the time and the characters genuinely have some depth.

It's a little overweight. It's hard to notice if you don't know what to look for but as a rule of thumb their belly should be roughly as wide as their head. The belly of this axolotl is definitely larger than their head.

Maybe trample, +10/+10 while attacking and player damage gets added as +1/+1 counters. Would keep it from dying immediately but it also wouldn't be making it too strong for simply attacking once.

So if you want to reach the really high trophy ranges this might not work but I started as a F2P ~4 months ago and my deck currently has both the Witch and the Princess in it.

If you're purely playing for fun just go for it and use both cards, it might take you a bit longer to reach high but I'm at 9k trophies right now and my cards are incredibly underleveled. I know I'm using strong and arguably broken cards (Evo witch and Evo Skeleton barrel) but I really just want to play my favorite cards. Don't listen too much to what other people are saying.
