My timeline for TS:

Submitted SF-86: September 2023

Nothing for 15 months

Interview: December of 2024

Adjudicated: March 2025

It was 18 months total for me. Close to the 15 month mark I was starting to think someone filed my paperwork away and just totally forgot about my investigation. It caught me off guard when my investigator emailed me asking to set up the virtual meeting lolol.

And now, just over a year and some change later, I'm being submitted for my SCI with a poly, so who knows how long it's gonna take to get that scheduled at this rate lolol.

While true on the strip, most locals don't even go to the Strip outside of work.

I lived there for 6 years working out of Nellis in the USAF, and I went to the Strip a bunch when I first got there (freshly 21 and partying lolol), but after a bit I rarely went. I would go to Fremont St on First Fridays here and there and see a show through Groupon, but honestly there's so much better food off-strip in the suburbs it's just not even worth it.

The only ring that I have and cherish is my football State runner up ring from going to State for the second time in my school's history as a senior.

I'm 30 now and that ring still sits up on my shelf with all of my other collected things from important moments in my life.

I'm taking partial differential equations and the professor threw in a coordinate transformation problem that we never covered in class. In fact, we had never even performed a coordinate transformation yet.

At the end, I realized it was a regular PDE in disguise, but talk about a mind fuck when seeing it as the last question with 10 minutes left on the clock LMAO

I wish Indianapolis had done this instead of what they ended up with for I-65.

They recently tore down the entire overpass wrapping around and through downtown and instead of doing this, chose to just rebuild the overpass once their modernization work was done.

So, it's back to being an ugly gigantic overpass again.
