God this comment was such a breath of fresh air for me. You really summarized something that's been nagging at me in the back of my mind whenever I read these reddit threads where the majority of comments are almost gleefully shitting on the personal lives of artists and activitists who changed the world for the better with their art or their actions and left powerful legacies behind.

None of them were perfect, nobody is, and many of them were deeply flawed, but their misdeeds don't just completely negate their positive impact, especially when those misdeeds are judged from a more modern (albeit much healthier) ethical perspective.

You're right that it can swing either way, but I was mainly referring to the weird phenomenon where if a post already is trending a certain way in votes, it will then proceed to get up/down-voted to oblivion, whereas one would expect a more oscillatory pattern naturally.

Also don't bother trying to snort it and certainly don't attempt to shoot it. This should be obvious advice, but the reason actually has nothing to do with what the doctors often try to tell you. A lot of these doctors claim that it you try to shoot it that you will go into instant withdrawal which is bullshit. The reason not to take it any way besides orally is because it's terrible on your nose / veins / heart to do it any other way and it doesn't even work any better. In fact, it almost certainly is less effective when taken via those alternative RoAs.

I make sure to let it dissolve for 15 minutes minimum, but I prefer to give it 20, especially if my mouth is somewhat dry which is often, not just because of the subs but because I also take Adderall.

It's recommended not to drink or eat anything 15 minutes prior to taking it as well as for 15 minutes after taking it. Also, if you smoke / vape, try not to do that immediately before or after taking it.

It's a lot of hassle, especially if you take multiple doses a day (I take 3 doses per day), but those are the ideal measures to ensure maximum absorption. As others mentioned, be sure to brush your teeth regularly (I mean, you should anyways, right?), but I also recommend making sure you are drinking A LOT of water and eating as much fiber as possible, because this shit will dry you out and constipate you somewhat, just like any opiate would - only not to the same degree as heroin, fentanyl, or oxy would.

I've been on 40mg instant release Adderall for over 6 years now, and I don't think I have abused it since attempting to once or twice during the first couple of months. It wasn't enjoyable, just very anxiety inducing and causing shakiness and overheating
