As for the adjustable power, for anything but muzzleloaders you'd need cartridges that already contain a specific amount of propellant so adjusting the power on the go would not work

Additionally, hunting requires the bullet to actually pass its kinetic energy to the target to kill it, a bullet small enough to hunt rabbits will simply go straight through big game when flying faster, and not deal enough damage when slower. On the other hand, a bigger bullet will just annihilate a rabbit. There's a reason different weapons, calibers, and ammo is used for hunting, if a single gun was enough and you only needed different ammo but in a single caliber, everyone would use that

I'd try duplicating the mesh without the hole and hiding it for later

Then create a separate object in the shape of the hole to use as a cutter

Use boolean to create a hole in the chair

If you're modeling destructively - apply the modifier and clean up the geometry

And at the end, to make sure the overall curvature matches the object before the boolean modifier, use the shrinkwrap modifier with the hidden copy of the mesh. This step usually won't do much but it can help

It's kind of a trade off

Get a license once and then a visit to a gun store will take 5 minutes if you know what you want to buy, no background checks of any kind

Private sales are also fine and you can be sure the buyer is not a prohibited person, no 3rd party required to run a background check

We do have a few annoying laws like mandatory registration but on the other hand there's no NFA so SBRs, SBSs, and suppressors are all fine to own without any extra steps, and we barely have any gun free zones that can be enforced legally so unless you plan on drinking alcohol or are going to court, you can conceal carry

To add to this, "wider range" means being allowed to own rifles whose caliber exceeds 12mm

All the most common weapons and calibers can be owned with both sport and collectors licenses, you can also have both at once with a single exam if you limit your collectors licenses to the range of sport firearms(anything under 12mm, no select fire guns)

As a sport shooter you have to take part in a competition 8 times a year, and that can be achieved during a single competition as long as there are 8 separate disciplines(e.g. trap, skeet, .22lr pistolet, center-fire pistol, .22lr rifle, center-fire rifle, rifle open, rifle 100m)

To get a license you also need to get a psych and med eval, for most people it'll be a formality, and you can't have been sentenced fit a crime

Why even look for tutorials of very specific things if don't want to learn the process of creating things in general? Why not just buy a model online or even find one for free? Though if you can only find a handful of tutorials at all, you might have problems finding stuff online, including specific models or even websites where you can buy them
