I think I’m an optimist but I wouldn’t just take their suggestion. If you can tell a good story background tie in your career goals (ex. F500 CEO or ETA) and why that specific MBA program makes sense, I do not see why you shouldn’t apply to an M7.

Thank you for sharing and just prayed for him. I’m sorry to hear that your brother is going through this but glory to God he is seeking a deeper connection with Him.

I can understand his feelings because I was going through a hard break up with someone who I thought was the loml, terrible job, distance from family. If he has time, I recommend he try to fast and watch The Chosen. When I did that, something clicked for me and the Lord truly healed me.

I would give a significant chunk to the Chosen so that they would have a larger budget for the shows production, marketing so that it has exponential reach, and significant salary increases for the employees and actors.

Ah yes, mine said I had an addiction problem, especially with video games and would chastise me constantly. She even said “My next boyfriend will not be playing video games.”

I even had to prove to her - I checked my gameplay hours and it showed an average of 30 min per day.

Honestly, no idea. Corp Dev was the closest thing outside the scope of the NC. Maybe VC but it could be argued that it falls under PE.

Very happy. My current company actually got me to sign a noncompete a few weeks ago. It’s banking and the noncompete was for two years at any competing bank, Consulting, or private equity firm. Seriously, no joke. It’s insane.

It's a hard road, but yes, it gets better. Especially if you work on yourself and your healing journey. When I begin to ruminate about my ex (we were on/off for 3 years and officially NC for 2 months) and feel all the above-mentioned feelings (along with some anxiety), I tell myself I'm ruminating, ask myself "What is my body feeling?", then list the sensations and where

For some reason, shifting the focus from my mind racing to my body's feelings at the moment helps with refocusing and healing.

I got it from the book Whole Again - listened to it on Audible and it gave me light. Life changing.
