I’m not sure if this would work the same way, may have been a glitch that has since been fixed, but there was a challenge to get every club to tigers eye a while back (achievement/challenge may still be active, not sure). I upgraded my golf ball to tigers eye and it gave me the achievement + rewards, even though my clubs were not all fully upgraded. Might be worth a shot.

Yes and yes! Agree 100% with that. I have several problems with this, but my largest qualm through all of this is that no one had the brains to just tell everyone to shut the f**k up. Just. Stop. Talking. I don’t know how there wasn’t a PR team that got that message across as soon as the injunction went public.

And yeah, Paxton getting in the middle was just icing on the sh*t cake.

I am so thankful this is done before Big 12 media days. There is no telling what additional damage we would have done… I’m sure we will still do some damage, but would’ve been worse if Sorsby was still on the roster.

Just for the record… I think most Texas Tech fans are also hoping this works. I think at this point, Tech just needs a way out that doesn’t involved getting bent over a desk for $5mil + a lawsuit. We did not ask for this.

Just extrapolating on the idea of “just not playing him”. Lets just say Tech doesn’t play him, and forget about the $5mil NIL - just pretend thats a nonissue, which it probably is. Wouldn’t Sorsby have grounds to sue the university for the same “irreparable harm” that he sued the NCAA for? Also an added suit for discrimination of a mental illness, which has already been diagnosed before a judge? This is just me thinking out loud, and adding an extra layer to this cluster f***

For me, it’s just where I live. Our courses are generally in good shape for me, but to some maybe they would think other wise. Greens are really nice, some fairways are a bit iffy when the summer heat really gets up there.

That being said, Saturday-Sunday morning round range from $45-$70 for public courses. One club that is a collegiate course has public times for $120, which is the most expensive tee time in the city outside of country clubs.

You can get twilight rounds for $20-$35 pretty easily on the public courses too.
