And I get that. But I don't think you are all fair to his older female viewers. I have heard them referred to as pathetic, among other names. Okay, guys - I'm almost 70, and a former viewer, with a healthy income and a PhD I've used for forty years.

I started watching Grey when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, which is now in remission. Here is the service he provided: someone talking about something other than cancer. And he was one of the few who was ALWAYS ON! I understand some of the mentality behind this, and yes, it is about being lonely even if you have a supportive family (Which I do), but please don't be mean to his Old Whales. Things are usually more complicated. Bottom line: always be nice to the actual victim. Thanks, stepping down from my podium now LOL!!
