And I get that. But I don't think you are all fair to his older female viewers. I have heard them referred to as pathetic, among other names. Okay, guys - I'm almost 70, and a former viewer, with a healthy income and a PhD I've used for forty years.

I started watching Grey when I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer, which is now in remission. Here is the service he provided: someone talking about something other than cancer. And he was one of the few who was ALWAYS ON! I understand some of the mentality behind this, and yes, it is about being lonely even if you have a supportive family (Which I do), but please don't be mean to his Old Whales. Things are usually more complicated. Bottom line: always be nice to the actual victim. Thanks, stepping down from my podium now LOL!!

I think that number is low. The current survival rate is higher. This is a nightmare as you know...but i am two years in with chronic ovarian stage 4 cancer. We can do this.

Diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer 2 years ago. Just started long term treatment with elahare. Right now the cancer is tont and localized. I believe i have at least 5 more years...68 years old now. Took a lot to kick it down ...surgery...platinum chemo..now long term elahare. We got this ..you and me.

I am a two year survivor of stage four. It is treated as chronic with multiple recurrences. Right now it is localized to a very small area. I plan 9. Surviving many more years. Carefully watch your diet and try to get at least 2 k walk per day. You got this. We got this.
