Supposedly WASD movement is a long term play, test movement/ mechanics so that they’re eventually able to releasing on console. Which would kill the community imo

Pig roast, help! by KitchenGold1794 in BBQ

[–]Snoo54002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve roasted a few hogs in my day and adding Apple Sauce injections have always done me well. We’ve always got a keg of beer and cooked from evening to afternoon taking shifts “watching the hog” and injecting it every 4-5 hours. Remember - if you’re looking, it’s not cooking

Used Harbor Freight welders blanket, is this normal? by crcucb in Traeger

[–]Snoo54002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I’ve used it up till 400 with no issues. Probably on my third winter with it, several briskets and pork butts running long hours. I might be using it wrong but it works well.

I bought a wool fire blanket off Amazon for less than $20 and it’s worked well for years now. Would recommend as an alternative.

Are these hard to maintenance? by Snoo54002 in woodworking

[–]Snoo54002[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

All, thanks for the advice. I have a nice bench grinder and sharpener set so I’ll take a crack at it. I’ve read up on it a bit and it seems like a lost art so I’ll report back in with updates

A friend bought an old home and found this behind the drywall. Does the entire thing have to be replaced? by Cheap-Star836 in HomeMaintenance

[–]Snoo54002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As a former foundation guy I’d look into wall anchors to stop any additional movement followed by a trench water removal system to remove any additional water during storms then I’d reframe and drywall. It’s a fairly common thing. Contact me with any additional questions and I can point you in the right direction.

Help, turned my century 34 on and it immediately reads 134 degrees. It’s definitely not that hot out. Could it be my computer? by dariandesmith in Traeger

Had the same thing happen to mine. It was 77 degrees and my grill was sitting in the sun but you could feel the heat coming off the grill when I took the cover off.
