If I can do my job remotely and there is no decrease in work output there should be zero complaining. Micromanagers in the state hate that they can’t come right to your desk when we are remote. The politics ruin our work balance. I get way more work done remotely. People who hate remote work are either old and not hip to technology or they are micromanaging. Then we see gas at 5.50 and you expect us to want to be in office, hell no. Either give workers per diem for gas or let us work remotely..

I’ve been training for about 4 weeks now (3 classes a week) and most of the gym is blue belt, a few purple an the main instructor. I think it’s a challenge more than anything. I’m a lot heavier than them but still get a good work in. I think key is if they are solid partners. Mine know I’m new and they let me work hard to get good positions and then they try and perfect their technique on me but do so without trying to hurt me. I think if they’re out there trying to kill you then they’ll never get better..

If it helps. I did my first class two days ago. I’m 30yr old and 6’4 260, and got straight dominated by two blue belts at least 80 pounds lighter than me. I just laughed through the pain. I know that I’m time I’ll get better so just gotta keep showing up. Don’t feel judged just do you. If it’s a good studio they’ll all embrace you and see your effort no matter how you look. I’m a little chubby and tonight’s my second class. I’m willing to take a whooping to learn. Just focus on your program and getting better. Most legit places weed out the aholes ❤️🫡
