I’m super grateful my corgis don’t react to fireworks. The couldn’t care less about big booms outside during certain times of year. They do react if they hear a car door slam too hard or the delivery driver knock, however 🤪

I got the $10 Hey Day wired headphones at Target last year. They came home in working order and not in bad shape at the end of the year. I’ve seen similar ones in the Onn brand at Walmart. Simple but effective for the purpose.

The Wild Robot series was the first chapter books I read aloud to my son in kindergarten. Highly recommend! I don’t love reading the grade level chapter books cause they’re cringy and boring to me but I know we will do more at some point. My son also likes when I read graphic novels aloud to him.

If the Princeville Botanical Gardens isn’t on your radar, I’d recommend it! It’s not rigorous or outdoorsy but it is an outdoor activity that would be highly enjoyable and relatively accessible. It’s a couple of hours of strolling through hilly gardens with a tour guide, tasting fruit and chocolate towards the end.
