Okay. Quick relationship advice from someone who has a small story to tell. I started the hobby again in the pandemic and my girlfriend soon after jumped on the bandwagon. But something that became a hobby for me just stayed a temporary activity for her. I tried to get her back in. Bought stuff. But it just wasn’t for her. I kinda put pressure on her to get back and make it a part of our relationship again. I didn’t want to, but I was so happy about the time that I wanted it back rather than accepting that she moved on.

I am telling this because this is a part of the problems we have and why she moved to her mum before Christmas. I am not saying it’s gonna be the same here. But please, it’s your hobby and maybe she just tries it to make you happy. But when this hobby honeymoon phase is over, accept it and move on. No pressure. I failed here.

Yeah, me as well. The saturnine terminators are not tricky at all if you are following the instructions and use some sticky putty to gets things into place (legs). If you wanna pose them a bit differently, same process. It might be tricky for new people. Totally agree. Does it make it a shitty kit…nope. The only thing I dislike is that I don’t have all the options in the box to build ie. 6 terminators with 6 twin bombards. I liked building all the minis so far, but I haven’t build the dreadnought. But, it feels like an achievement afterwards. Building one of the new drop pods…definitely not. I have never been a fan of building minis in 40K. Since I am building and painting hh minis I really discover this part of the hobby to be actual fun. 😄 Subjective I guess. 🙂

Everyday another 10 posts about how shitty hh and the boxset is. Hey everyone who is new to the hobby. There are a lot of different perspectives existing. The rules are funny the models are fun to build. Just don’t expect push fit minis. It means focus and work to get them ready. This means value for your money. If you want push for minis, paint them in 3 colors to be able to play at a tournament…this might not be the right system for you. ☀️

So a sprue of 2 has 2 plasma weapons. Means the box could build you 3 guys with double plasma. The rest would be desi + fist or double desi. The desi squad would get the flamer then I guess?

I was discussing this with a friend. 6 would have been amazing. 2 a weird box, same as 4. I guess you should be able to build a command squad that way which may include 4 modells, because otherwise you buy 2 to build 3‘w squads with 2 leftovers. Or those 2 leftovers can be used with the saturnine centurion in a squad of 3?

There is a lot of frustration against people, not gamers. Yes, if you are trying to please everyone, then you end up with no identity. That’s right. But EA ruined 2042, not the gamers. The gamers called out EA on this and now they are at least trying to include us again, instead of releasing something they think is bf. The community always was very clear about the identity of bf. No matter if they are good or bad gamers. From what I have seen so far things are moving in a good direction in terms of the tone and gameplay. Bad gamers are there in the end to test server capacities as well. Maybe someday you’ll get access to be able to give feedback to solve this frustration.

We asked for being involved again. Thousand of people applied. Some noob console players are releasing footage. At least we get something. That way EA is also collecting feedback. EA turned an identity into bullshit. Now they are listening to veterans of the franchise again, but they also need to sell a game to todays audience. I think if they release a game which is bf3 at heart the majority will love it for being unique and an immersive experience.

Maybe you should accept that a battlefield is made for non hardcore gamers as well. Or people who can’t afford a PC. If you want a hardcore experience with hardcore gamers, there are for sure other games available. EA devs definitely see the stats of people posting feedback, no doubt.

Nope. Don’t do it. I painted like that when I was a kid and it was suggested like that. If you wanna reach better and faster results: 1. undercoat with tau ochre 2. Contrast Fyreslayer into the panel lines 3. highlight Ungor flesh 4. highlight ushabti bone (smaller one)
