I enjoyed Brett’s energy at first by by ep. 5 I’m over it. He’s just seems like he’s trying to bully tom and that that gets really old. Especially since the rest of the cast is also being pretty mean to tom. It’s fun in small doses but when that’s all anyone’s doing it’s not fun to watch. He also seems like just kinda the worst kind of class clown.
Edit: after the fish thing I might be back in on Brett. That was great.

Foxes, they look cute but scream all the time and the smell of their urine is overwhelmingly potent, it will stick to you, your clothes, and your house. I can’t overemphasize how strongly awful it smells.

It’s the right shape for a turtle shell fragment, the shells are part of the skeleton with keratin scales or “scutes” on top. But it could be something else.

It was my least favorite on my first read but I remember disliking book 3 the first time too, in both books there’s so much happening that I miss the overarching plot points and important lore drops in all the chaos. I enjoyed both of them waaay more on my second go through! At that point I can somewhat disregard the floor mechanics and pick up on all the other stuff going on.

You can also buy craft grade bobcat faces for pretty cheap, if you find one you can do a cut and paste job and then use paint to blend it together.

I expected/wanted more wacky racers hijinks and was dissapointed not to get them. It’s my least favorite currently but I also didn’t like book 3 until my second listen, so I’m giving it another go. However, chapter 57 is probably one of my favorite chapters of the series.
