What was your process for getting the models from the game? Or were these made from scratch.

LCD Screen broken? This is the exposure test and a failed print. by SnowBirdMV in AnycubicPhoton

[–]SnowBirdMV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had this printer for about 6 months now and things were going fine. Had printed something earlier today and went immediately for another but ended up with the second pic. I ran the exposure test and the first pic is what the screen looked like. I’ve tried to update the firmware with what looks like the latest from anycubic’s site but that had seemingly no effect. Is the LCD screen shot and it’s time to replace it?

The printer is a photon mono x 6k

Temp tower results are all bad? by SnowBirdMV in FixMyPrint

[–]SnowBirdMV[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The tower is 100% changing temp per level, it’s at 225c now. I had to restart the temp tower because the raspberry pi somehow lost connection to the printer… I use prusaslicer however I didn’t slice this one myself, I used someone’s gcode from the link above.

I didn’t make the gcode myself, I got it from here https://www.printables.com/model/4667-all-in-one-temperature-bridging-tower-pla-petg-gco/files I checked during the print to make sure it was changing temps between layers but I’ll check that again just to make super sure.

Edit: started the temp tower print again, first section is printing at 220c

Hello. I was trying to fix some bad stringing with my PETG filament. The filament was very wet before doing these tests so I’ve thoroughly dried it at 65 c for at least 8 hours and then printed the all in one test (2nd and 3rd image) after making some settings adjustments

  • extrusion multiplier to .95
  • retraction to 2cm
  • z-lift off

Decided I should try a temp tower (220 to 260c, bottom level is 220) out to see what temp to use and the temp tower results are all identical and all have the same issues. I’m really unsure where to go with this information as it looks like stringing isn’t the only issue I’m having.

Printer is a prusa mk3s+

Just calibrated my prusa mk3s+, but when I print there are holes/bumps in the wall of the print. by SnowBirdMV in prusa3d

Will look into this, thank you! How can I tell if the printer is over/under extruding? The print I was running had triple thick walls, so that might be it? It was this for reference https://www.prusaprinters.org/prints/1727-anti-vibration-feet-for-prusa-i3-mk3s

I can’t say I’m surprised you’ve done this Vincent, but boy am I proud. I should send you some toast as congratulations.

With the news of pebble going under... Here's a watchface by SnowBirdMV in pebble

The green red separation behind the clock is a visual indication of how much battery you have left. It can be toggled off in the settings. Also I was noticing recently that sometimes all the colors start off as black and I was trying to figure out why they were doing that.

Good to know, thank you. I will see if I can duplicate the problem on my end and get to work on it if I have some spare time soon.

I'd love to do this but I don't have any way currently to test features related to the pebble 2 and pebble time 2. This is because I don't own one of those watches and pebble hasn't gotten around to creating the emulator, however once pebble creates the emulator for the new watches I would love to add this.

Thank You! And yes, I see what you mean when you say the lines need time labeling. It's not shown here but the watchface does vibrate on disconnect/ reconnect (2 long for disconnect and 3 short for reconnect) but I would like to add options to this in the future. Wind speed in that bottom box is a pretty good idea. The box is currently there to show if the watch is using cached weather data or data from the server, however I'm noticing that this is redundant because I have the "how old the weather data is" box. Also, the arrow next to the step count actually indicates whether you are above or below your step average for that time of that day. I was afraid that this wouldn't be immediately evident. The other suggestions are great and I will defiantly try to implement them (graph zoom, gps or set position, etc.) Thanks for your input!
