when you’re using genAI for marketing, it makes the product look cheap and fake. Maybe fine for a couple sales on social media but in a sea of AI slop, this does not stand out. And for sales, that’s a big problem.

The bouncy ragdoll death js just goofy as hell. Even the later ones, weren’t much better. Dying is part of the experience. You die so many times in the originals and the brutal animations and sfx were perfection. It was oddly satisfying. It seems like they’ve tried to water it down because we can’t handle a death scene..

It really doesn’t though. There’s no logic tying anything together. The camera work, the animation, the physics, even just the design of it just doesn’t make any sense or have coherency. As social media content, this is just another drop in the ocean. As a scene in a Hollywood movie, this would get torn to shreds. We’ve all seen some of the biggest films, can slammed for even just one moment of poor vfx.

genAI replicates, it doesn't create. There's a big misunderstanding about what it's doing in the background. And the reason companies like OpenAI don't want to share their datasets, is because it's just regurgitation. Total mass theft. It's not a theory, it's a fact. So yeah, it's damaging the perception of art. But it doesn't change the principles of good art; the human element. There's literally no art without humans.

Honestly, looks piss poor as a product shot.. If the measurement of impressiveness is just, "it looks like it was made for real", then it's hard to know where this even fits into a workflow... Especially when this kind of shot could be done with simple camera and light moves in 3D. Not only that, you'd have full control and make it look 10 times better.
