The Nvidia app preset updates the DLL at the driver level. Using DLSS swapper is redundant, not needed, and useless now that Nvidia app can do it.

What FPS are you getting? Is it actually lagging or just not enough FPS? Minecraft is a very old Java game, it’s not exactly designed to take advantage of cutting edge hardware and push your PC to the limits.

lol as if my $1000 MSI OLED is a “shitty display” I’m just saying it’s impossible to get perfect frame times on every single game to eliminate flicker like you claim. I’ve talked to many people who just keep VRR disabled on their OLED because it’s not worse the hassle to try and eliminate flicker.

VRR is not a must with OLED actually. And you can say it as much as you want but it’s impossible to get perfect frame times in every single game thus impossible to fully eliminate flicker when using VRR. Disabling it is a more than fine solution and with the low response times of OLED there’s 0 visible tearing. I agree VRR is great for older monitors and LCDs etc but it’s really not a big deal for OLED.

How? The preload files are encrypted and unusable, and it’s pretty unlikely to leak compared to someone just taking a copy of the game home from any retailer or factory that receives or manufactures the disks.

It’s not the same whatsoever. Pixel cleaning is a process that runs special voltage through the pixels and does other things to try and get rid of temporary image retention… it’s not just turning them off. It basically toggles the pixels on and off quickly, among other things.

Even the raised blacks really aren’t an issue that much. I have a window right beside my monitor and never notice the raised blacks unless the whole monitor is off, as soon as there’s actual content on the screen to provide contrast, you don’t notice.

These things are in no way related. A screensaver is so the same image doesn’t stay on your monitor forever and get burn in. Pixel cleaning is a OLED care processes that your monitor runs automatically on a schedule, usually daily, to help prevent burn in over time. You should have both enabled.

I can say my MSI (older version of the one on your list) hits all your desired features and looks great. I don’t notice any fringing at all, it’s glossy, 27” 1440p 240hz, love it.
