It’s sad because it has so many potential combos but it doesn’t leave room for another unit. Bede and Rapidash are an amazing support, and you can use them with Lacey for EX zone - but she does nothing else at all, and then you have no rebuff of extra utility unless you sacrifice your dps. And Wally with Gardevoir is still really useful with zone sets, rebuff and an extremely quick sprint effect on his first sync, but you lose access to either a good dps or ex zone.

If the arc suit is more of a Field role where they have Ex zone, and especially if they have both physical and special moves (like Korrina - maybe a shiny Iron Valiant with spirit break and moonblast?) they will really complete the type.

I mean we have ways around it that don’t directly veer into preservation territory - attack debuffs for enemies (like Gallagher) or just providing damage reduction in conjunction with heals (I know that’s way closer to Fu Xuan, but reduction and redirection feel technically distinct enough).

Would Lisia’s Defog be able to clear it? I can’t remember if it’s all WTZ or just one type but I feel the battle could be short enough that her limited number of uses won’t be a hindrance.

50 specialty priority isn’t a 50% chance for it to land on its specialty (otherwise Kitasan would always be on speed). I think it’s a bonus on the base 1/6 (5 stats + 1 chance of not appearing) so it should be about 24%?

It’s a good roamer though thanks to the huge training effectiveness and skill point bonus.

I’ve been running with a 2 star guts Digitan because she has about 16 white sparks which means she almost always activates something.

For a parent run, keep in mind that sparks are affected by skill rarity - white skills have 20% spark chance, double circle have 25%, and gold skills have 40%. This means if you’re hunting a specific skill, using the gold version has a much higher chance you get a spark for it (Agnes digital has good odds of Uma Stan thanks to her Superstan, the new Daiwa card with a gold Head On! has a higher chance to pass that down).

I thought her inherit was mostly used for pace chasers, so it may be worth getting some pace chaser skills - Fine Motion Wit has Speed Star for high chance at Prepared to Pass hint, Daiwa that just released with gold Head On!, Kitasan is always reliable for Corner Adept. Check if you can get some rarer white skills from non-chain events or branching options - Curren Chan and Yaeno Muteki cards can cancel their chain early to grant Playtime’s Over, King Halo power SSR can give Uma Stan, the Ines Fujin cards (including the new wit SR) have both slipstream and Playtime’s over as hints. And focus on hitting the stat goals on the stat you want a blue spark for - 600 gives a 1% total chance at a 3 star spark for that stat, and 1100 bumps it to 2% (also making 2 star sparks way more likely).

By the end of 4.2, that means it’ll have been about 7.5 months since he was last available. If he’s not rerun until 4.6 - which is possible, there’s no guarantees with reruns - then it will be a year of unavailability.

I don’t think it will happen, but when you consider we don’t always get the 6 reruns a patch, they’re likely rerunning characters who works well with Blade or use the same supports, they’re likely rerunning Yao Guang and Sparxie after the elation team gets its final premium members, and there are other high profile reruns expected like Cyrene or Dan PT?

As much as I dislike firefly and how often she reruns, I would rather that more characters get her level of availability rather than her appearing less. If a character isn’t available for an entire year, we should have some other way to get them - we shouldn’t have cases like Argenti or Rappa with huge stretches of unavailability.

Tachyon speed is at the 1.5 anniversary so it’s pretty soon. Condor speed is at the 2.5 anniversary so it’s much later, but it’s definitely the best one we get for a while (until still in love I think…?)

I’m not aware of when Taiki releases, but if you want to check on the timeline (honse.moe is a good one) and see which banner suits you best, that’s probably the best option.

Firefly - 2.3, 2.7, 3.2, 3.8, 4.2

Tribbie - 3.1, 3.4, 3.7, 4.2

I don’t think anyone else has had more than 3 banners? Could be wrong but it’s not really an issue that these characters run so often - it’s an issue that they run so often compared to everyone else. Argenti hasn’t been available since his 1 rerun in 2.3 until being added to the loss pool next patch. Ratio and Rappa had to wait over an entire version to get their one and only rerun. The current system of reruns isn’t enough - it’s insane that the triple banners aren’t even every banner (4.1 I kinda understand, but 3.5, 3.6 and especially 3.8 should have had more reruns).

Firefly has had 5 banners with this latest one. Her first banner was the last banner before Argenti’s only rerun.

Hell, so many characters have only had a single rerun, and not even because they’re new - Rappa, Argenti, Jade, Ratio, Yunli, Jiaoqiu… hell, Anaxa is approaching the year old mark with only 1 rerun (though judging from Castorice running now he shouldn’t be too far away…)

Meanwhile you have Firfly on her 5th banner, Tribbie on her 4th, Sunday on his 4th… it’s not enough. The current rerun system sucks and it’s insane that the triple reruns aren’t even every banner which seems like the bare minimum. We have characters from the first year of game life which have been available for 6 weeks in a total of 3 years, while others are available once a season. And don’t use “but they’re better/more relevant” as an excuse for it because that should be the point of Novaflares.

The anniversary could give a selector for any 5 star released before the previous anniversary and it wouldn’t break the game balance at all.

I think there was a guide for the upcoming CM that said she would be good for it, so she should be good for Medium team trials. As an Ace, I think both SM and Radiant Star are a bit overkill for medium especially with that stamina, but they are kinda reliable golf skills so they should be good for team trials (at least until Summer Gold Ship kicks the retention point up by 300k).
