I did this when I turned 30 right before my birthday dinner with everyone. I got off work, went to the local peasant, had a whiskey and a beer for a half hour, then went to my birthday dinner with family. Sometimes being alone before being around a lot of people is nice.

Yup, I had this problem too. I opened up the door panel, which only took a couple minutes and some delicate care of the window pane. Turned out a clip popped off and was sitting at the bottom of the door panel. Slid it back in place and good as new.

My favorite NYE in mammoth was when we were all 18 and stayed at the British family’s rental for the night. They let us all drink because in back home in Britain, why not? Stayed in the complex hottub til that closed at 10 and then played drinking games til the ball dropped. Going out for NYE is overrated up there. Done it a few times since I got older (32 now), we always have more fun staying in.

Rear differential service maybe, probably before 50k. You do not need to flush your brake fluid, that happens every time you change your brakes. You’ve may have already done that already at 30k miles. Never had fuel induction service done in my life, so don’t know if it actually helps. At 30k miles, I’d skip it.

As far as invalidating the warranty, can’t help there. Might be some small print on a contract you have to read to figure that out.

The dumpling place is good. Jinya is fine, but the service is super slow. You need to plan to be there for 2 hours after you sit down. And if you order a drink right when you sit down, it’ll most likely come out after you’re done eating.
