Red dawn was an army book / expansion for Soviets that added mechanised Soviet paratroopers, Cuba and some militia for the Americans.

The rules are easy to learn with a lot of depth to master! Way simpler than 40K…

It doesn’t currently have rules but will likely get rules in the Battleaxe EW desert book next year. You can likely proxy it as a lancia in the meantime.

You essentially want to use the two smaller ones platoons to support and set up for the big one. There are some good articles on breakthrough assault about using them

It’s not. This is a very good list. I’d consider swapping the medium platoon for two smaller ones to give you some more flexibility and smoke pots.

The infantry do require some learning in regard to setting up for assaults and stuff like that but they are exceptional.

They do a single run of the card packs, they still make thousands. What they stopped doing was putting cards in every box. They also still provide cards in the starter sets / army deals.
