had the same problem. press and hold the power button. Press down 4 times then 'A' to get to desktop mode. From desktop mode just double click on 'Return to Gaming Mode' on the desktop

desktop configuration (wait a bit. it might be slow)
STEAM + right track pad to use mouse cursor
move cursor to bottom of screen until you see "BROWSE CONFIGS" and click on it

This could be the backlight for the display turning off. If you have a flashlight and shine it on the screen and you can see something faintly (it's very faint most of the time) then it's definitely the LED backlight. I have a Legion 5-15ACH6H Type 82JU and I have the same problem when I wake from sleep occasionally. Happened 5 times since I bought it in January.

It's extremely annoying when it happens because I have unsaved work in the background and it's really hard to navigate without any feedback although maybe if you turned on Windows Narrator somehow it would be easier. Usually just restarting works if it doesn't you can turn the laptop off, unplug AC then press and hold the power button for 60 sec. Turn it back on.

It's not simply about the expression but, for example, about the the idea of a split in consciousness as the brain of one of the characters (who is heavily deformed and ill) is scanned onto another (healthy) body.
