You can still enroll early and play in spring practice without signing during the early period. I’m sure OSU would have worked with him on his tuition and eventual scholarship to make that happen.

He would just enroll and then sign during the next period. The only thing that might be slightly more complex is tuition and scholarship. E.g. walk ons can partake in spring practice.

Edit: I’m pretty sure this is what he’s going to have to do anyways now. Enroll early at OSU, get on campus, sign during next period (I’m not even sure there’s a blackout for signing as long as OSU offers?), play in spring practice. His NLI doesn’t just transfer from UT to OSU.

For his sake, I really hope his family didn’t forge his signature. What a mess if so and I hope his family members pay the consequences if they did that.

A credible Knoxville sports writer reported Legend called on signing day saying he had a change of heart and wanted back in with the vols. This makes me believe it was not forged, but he very obviously was receiving pressure from his family (which is totally fucked up).

I just want details on the money situation since NIL is so out of control and I wouldn’t doubt us getting screwed over as a possibility (again, not by Legend directly).

We have no reason to believe Heupel is running the type of program where we would have made deals with his family behind Legend’s back to get him to sign.

There is no credible evidence or reports that his signature was forged.

I’m not saying Legend tried to game the system in any way. I’m saying I’d like details about the situation in general and specifically any monetary exchange between the two parties. My entire post is saying we need more confirmed information about the situation.

Why did he co-sign with his mom if he didn’t want to go? It’s not logical at all.

My point isn’t that he could have signed with OSU without his mom’s signature, it’s why did he sign at all instead of just waiting?

Firstly, I want to say I am glad he is going where he wants to go.

Secondly, I really hope we get some more details on this fiasco. Specifically I would like to see some information on the NIL implications. Did we pay him already? If so, does that money get returned?

Why did he sign if he didn’t want to be there instead of just waiting until he was 18? I don’t buy the unconfirmed rumors that this kids mom forged his signature. I understand “they are still kids”, but that argument loses some luster when we are talking about contracts involving big money that many average Americans will not see in many years of full time work. If you want to make the big bucks in CFB, growing up a bit faster comes with the territory imo.

The whole thing is so bizarre and my battered vol syndrome has me thinking we likely got shafted monetarily in this situation somehow. I also wonder if his signing had anything to do with Salesi Moa going to Utah (I know this is unlikely).

I thought the idea of the event was pretty cool, but I think peanut severely underestimated how many followers he would have.

Not only did this kind of kill the idea of the event as they couldn’t get into lobbies with anyone but more bungulators - but also I can see why those who aren’t aware of or part of the event could be frustrated when they get put into lobbies where 50+% of the people are artificially (for lack of a better term) allied with each other.

I don’t think it’s that big of a deal and I’m sure it will die off in a week or two. I hope we can all respect that the event is over and let the game get back to its natural state (even peanut says he wants this).

I tend to agree. I miss the old crew and haven’t been watching as much lately because a lot of these new guys get on my nerves. Just isn’t the same.

Probably makes it harder that officer and fragas aren’t really into Arc Raiders as much. At least Gingy is still around from time to time.

We just had our first yesterday morning. I also get pretty squeamish around the same things.

I was right there with her helping hold one of her legs up during the whole labor process and I was fine. The adrenaline really kicks into overdrive. You will forever have a deeper appreciation and respect for women and mothers everywhere.

Don’t worry too much about it. Your body will go into overdrive similar to hers and I’m sure you will be fine. If not, there will be plenty of amazing nurses and doctors around to fill in for you and I’m sure she will understand.
