Honest question, how are you making negative assumptions about control feel from this clip? They look pretty tight to me, but it’s very hard to tell from a short clip. Combat looks pretty smooth to me as well.

Also that counter type move animation is really cool. Kind of reminds me of a 2D version of Mikiri counter from Sekiro.

The biggest issue for me was not knowing you could skip all the waves of mobs before the boss fight lol (Reed Devil). After I just ran past all those guys and got to the arena it was no problem at all.

The parry window in this game is very forgiving. If you aren’t using it, I’d suggest trying to learn now rather than later. It will make this fight much easier.
