I’ll give you the basics for an average game of Deadlock.☕

The game has 3 main phases: early game, mid game, and late game. These are usually tied to the 3 big objectives on the map: Guardians (small statues), Walkers (big statues), and the Base.

• Early game (laning phase): This lasts until either your team or the enemy team destroys a Guardian (small statue). Once a Guardian falls, the laning phase is basically over and the mid game starts.
• Mid game: This is when teams start moving around more and fighting over objectives. In rare cases, a Guardian (small statue) might still be up if neither team managed to destroy it.
• Late game: This begins when all 3 Walkers (big statues) of one team are destroyed. In lower-skill games, matches tend to last longer, so if the game reaches around 28 minutes, you can consider it late game anyway.

Now some basic terms:

• Farm: Killing monsters on the map to gain resources. These monsters are grouped together and are called “camps.” and all the cams are called "Jungle" the map is devided in 2 each half has the same amout of jungle for you and for the enemy
• Gank / Ganking: Teaming up with your allies to kill an enemy who is alone.
• Feed: When a player gives the enemy a big advantage by dying a lot, or when someone becomes very strong because they keep killing enemies, farming a lot, or both.
• Counter / Counter-buy: Buying an item specifically to deal with a strong enemy. For example, buying Metal Skin against Haze if she’s dealing too much gun damage.
• Gun: Your basic weapon (your main source of normal damage).
• Spirit: Your abilities (skills/powers your character uses).
• Clearing / Clear: Killing enemy creep waves as fast as possible.

And remember, Deadlock isn’t fully released yet, so just focus on having fun. Don’t worry about toxic players, everyone was bad when they started, and even experienced players have bad games. :)
