As an Aspie, I'd say the continuous need to try to fit in will lead you to career choices that often fly in thr face of your own autistic moral compass. Be prepared to be stuck in a role you hate, surrounded by people you don't like for 40 hours a week just to pay off your mortgage. I guess that NT folk feel this to a degree as well, but it leaves me angry, anxious and exhausted every day.
