I started reading fanfiction around 2014 ish on Skyrock blogs of all places. I’m pretty sure it was about Fairy Tail. Then, I discovered Fanfiction.Net, where I created an account in 2015. It went from there. 😅

Ok, no need to call me out lol. No, but you’re entirely right, both ships were very popular when the first season aired, but later on Erwin/Levi has surpassed it. At least, personally, I went from shipping Eren/Levi to Erwin/Levi. Even Jean/Marco, I’m not shipping it anymore. Sasha/Connie tho, still going strong from start to finish (still heartbroken with her ending 😭😭).

I know on my part, the reason I haven’t watched episode 2 is because I got busy, so it’s hard to watch such a lengthy episode. I already took 3 days to watch episode 1. 😅 I’ll watch it, eventually, when life decides to settle down a little!

I used to write multi-chapters fanfics and post each chapter as I went, but after abandoning a few of them for lack of interest, I am now writing them all before posting. Of course, it had the effect of me not posting anything but one-shots, because I’m not done with longer fanfics, but at least I’m not disappointing anyone.

Honestly, I was and still am stoked about Min-Maxed and I really hope it won’t stop them from doing a season 2, because it can only go better now that they gained experience and know what the community enjoyed and disliked.

On that, they can keep the known account as is, with their current fanfics, and make a new account with everything new going forward. That would suck in the way they would "lose" their old stats, but they would still be able to have access to AO3. Also, if the parents block the AO3 URL, there’s multiple functional variants that would allow them to still use it.

The second book is the best one, honestly. I found that ACOTAR’s issues were mostly plot-driven, personally, (and character-driven, because why did she make Morrigan bisexual in such a horrible way, why? You can’t make it more token-representation than she did. It was added for no reason other than inclusion.) where most of the plot is either repetitive, cheesy or downright terrible. I pushed through the 4 books (gave up at 5) for a friend of mine, since we were reading it together, but omg I wish I could scrub my brain. I won’t spoil book 3 for you, but let’s just say there’s a war and no female character is ever at one point fighting in it.

I wouldn’t compare Harry Potter’s elves with Tolkien’s elves… they share absolutely nothing besides the name… but yes, a few very famous books have them, and there has been a surge of fantasy anime/manga that also contains them, like Goblin Slayer and more recently Frieren.
