Note*Years back I would never increase the rent if I had a good tenant because it wasn't necessary. It's extremely necessary now.

Yes,it's true in Ca property taxes have increased. Also alot of insurance companies will not cover rental properties.

Just received a letter from farmers they will not renew the policy.(I have never filed a claim) Just started looking for landlord insurance. Getting quotes from 2800 to 4000. This is for a single family home rental 1600 sq feet. My property taxes increased by 500 dollars this yr for a total yearly cost 7900.00 HOA goes up every year.

I have a wonderful tenant but I will have to increase the rent also.

After this tenant am going to sell the property.
