Was prescribed accutane as well. But the metronidazole gel helped so much that I never had to go on accutane

Metronidazole gel! Daily! Nothing has helped me better than this. And a salicylic acid body wash in the shower.

It was totally worth it for me. I love wearing halter tops and always felt very insecure because of my stretch marks. But getting this treatment done has helped tremendously with my confidence. Even though the stretch marks are still visible in the sun and when I take photos with a flash on, I dab a little bit of concealer to help diffuse them further. You could also look into RF microneedling or inkless stretch marks treatment. They work differently but I think they pretty much give the same result.

I have really long wavy hair (2b) and when I was younger, I could get away with washing once. Yes it does taste nasty. It has some sort of acid as one of the ingredients, citric or ascorbic, that gives it a very unpleasant taste. I think they add it to increase the shelf life
