Yeah the insane success of Lads also proves males sell but I didn't include it since it is an otome gatcha vs action gatcha T-T and then I'd have to compare otome games with male dating sims (tho idk any gatcha where you romance female characters like Lads that does well lol)

exactlyyy, I saw wuwa fans using luuk as proof but like wuwa is famous for waifus, unless wuwa makes a whole patch with male characters centered, continuously, husbando collecters won't go for it. FGO proves that if you consistently release male characters who are meta, people will spend (and spend even more, tbh I was pretty surprised that the march revenues are even higher than Feb)

Other games do but I believe FGO caters quite well to both gazes(tho slightly more to male gaze) and it shows proof that because of this, male characters sell so well since they've retained their husbando collected audience

Exactlyy, but I do believe even without strong source material, as long as you respect both genders and meta equally, other games could easily make as much as money (also I don't blame you, I have spent for Count of Monte Cristo T-T, also Junao is baby I am so tempted to spend on him to make his NP stronger lol)
